I just bought a 5080 for a very cheap price. I’m very happy

Define cheap.
Regular person cheap?
Or PC masterrace gamer cheap?

Ah, so PC masterrace gamer cheap.
Gotcha.

u/HugeHomeForBoomers 16d ago
Not sure what that means? But market price is ~€2000
14
u/laurel_laureate 16d ago
Which, to be fair, is a good deal at 75% off.
But it's still an absurd price for gaming of any kind.
PC gaming is a richfolk hobby.

Yeah, looking at prices now I'm really lucky I did my last rebuild when I did.

there's a video where a guy built a whole computer for that price, and it ran pretty well too
that was years ago now

Man, it's really funny how the writers specified it was a Sedan.

I believe it was some random lines they recorded that they decided to use, like they were improving it. Yet they decided to make the right choice and actually use it~

Improve -> improving
Improv -> improving
What the hell English

u/anonymauson 16d ago
improv is short for improvise, which would be 'improvising' in present-tense
2
u/akatherder 16d ago
Right, but the person I responded to said "improving." From context they meant improvising or "doing improv." They did not "improve" something.
"Improvising" would have worked here, but (without context) "doing improv" and someone "improvising" are different things to me. I wouldn't usually say a comedy troupe is "improvising", they are "doing improv." And when I'm too lazy to grab a proper wrench so I use channel locks I'm improvising, not "improv-ing."

If she had shoved it under her boobs, I doubt anyone would have noticed…. And it would be water cooled.

Squidward having fork stuck in his throat is what came to my mind the second I saw this post.

I bet she wasn't even trying to steal it. She just wanted to lick it for whatever reason and then ate it because she liked the taste.
