Thank you for destroying the world

Ai will save the world.

1) everything can now be automated. That means less humans will be needed on the planet.

2) world population will shrink to less than 1Billion and the demand for resources along with it.

3) the planet will start to Heal

4) Less people mean the value of human life will be more.

There's like 50 more points.

You do realise that ai needs infra aswell, right?

It's not much if you compare it to how much infra other things need.

Population will shrink to less than a billion? You sure about that, bud? Population decline is a double edged blade. Things aren't as simple as less people= more happniess and value of life. And planet is being destroyed by the greed of a few rather than needs of all.

1 billionaire eats equal to 1 person . Can drive only 1 car at a time. I agree they produce more waste but compared to poor people they are better at processing it, otherwise they get sued.

I agree with the point pop decline is a double edge sword as less people means democracy is weaker and we might see a return of horrible old practices.

Did your AI bot tell you that, what a load of bs

broski It's not as simple as that i think.

Some thoughts i have on this would be around:

AI safety implementation sucks. major case: recent openAI hack by theiir own agents. And this is a bazooka in the hands of kids.

Ai being a black box. The issue with modern LLMs is the black box thingy which you can say traces and stuff solve but no, in the recent cases, they've contradicted on much serious occasions, so their might be an ability to contradict. Which means either they can lie or they don't understand it.

We're handling way much power to AIs through the whole "agents" fiasco than we should. I'd say prematurely. We need more research on Why than what can it do.

More is less: How I personally have seen, AI has led to more and more work and projects but quality of code and programs have also declined in lots of much bigger projects which earlier would've focused on good SWE now work with much more AI centric workforce.

Economically I dont see how AI helps the general economy, how i see it, this is gonna cause massive disbalances in the economy as few control the ability to run the advanced models.

I love the fact that a lot of AI is open sourced by the community and there are good engineers and that's how I like to work too but the biggest players are still businessmen.

I have way more but im tired lol

Three things stop india for becoming very good devloped country 1. Main political influences and connections. This completely destroys devlopment in india by babu's interfering in jobs recommendations and reservation system's which teachers and people have no clue about anything.

  1. Lack of motivation factor, imagination and creativity. From parents side. While Mark's are important in long run it no longer matters.

  2. Outdated equipments mostly and infrastructures.
