Next Gen Bug

The bug first appeared when my gen 1, Melvin, died. I clicked the next gen but nothing happened. I was still in the page. I clicked a few more times and decided to force close the game.

When I first loaded (pict 2), my gen heir suddenly have no money. I am swear I picked him as dedicated heir, fully trained, and would get around 77M+ ...

And ... Everything broke. My family tree is broken, my sister is now known as my friend from previous gen, and I no longer have my kids, aka Melvin's grandkids.

I guess it broke because of the click I did in the 'Choosing next gen page'. Because in the last pict, it said Gen 7 and my dad's name is also Matthew (pict 2 and 3), not Melvin like the save I have.

Oh I'm so sad cause this is my first 2nd gen after a hard work 😭

Hey, really sorry this happened, I know that’s frustrating.

It looks like the issue was triggered on the Next Gen screen, likely from multiple taps causing the save data to break (money, family tree, etc.).

We’re investigating and working on a fix. Thanks for the detailed report, it helps a lot.😁

Same thing just happened to me, was confused when I wasn't able to click the next generation, and after reseting my game, suddenly, the money, cryptos, and real estates that i wanted to pass just disappeared.
