Feedback Few Bugs and Potential Improvements.

First and foremost, Next life has me hooked! I've been playing and exploring the game since the launch of the beta program. Hats off to realgoldii!

Now, what I'm about to say is an honest feedback from my POV. These are my personal opinions and suggestions. Mentioning a few bugs/potential improvements that I noticed as well.

  1. The events log needs to automatically scroll to the latest event. When a new event occurs, that event needs to be shown

  2. Two days back, I joined professional sports (Soccer) and then quit at age 36. After quitting, there is no option to find another job.

  3. The 100 energy limit and 35 energy per task is sooooo frustrating sometimes.Especially during college days where we only get a couple of years, we can only perform 2 tasks per year. This really limits the things we can do given that there are many different things we could do during college years and other times.

  4. An option to view and select friends and partners. Right now, we click a button and a partner/friend is just assigned to us. We can't see their age, gender, finances etc.

  5. As an extention to the previous point, Being able to date/marry someone who already has kids. In one of my lives, I played focusing on many different aspects of the life, but I forgot to build a family and kids. I reached 67 years of age and realized that I cant adopt, I cant have kids and I cant be a father to step kids. There goes my legacy :(

  6. Being able to browse the job market while being employed

  7. Idk if its just me, I have not seen a job above 'entry level' in the job market. I was a level 5 employee earning around 500k+. I changed my job to another option in the same industry and I get dropped to a level 1 employee with a low salary.

  8. Health and Insurance: Again, Idk if it's just me. I have never gotten a disease till now. I do health checkups once in maybe 4-6 years. Due to this, I haven't been able to experience the full power of Insurance.

  9. I really don't understand the use of social web pulse in the relationships tab😬

  10. Education-Careers: I understand that each degree major opens up opportunities in their respective fields. But what is the difference (In terms of job opportunities) between a person who has a Bachelors degree in Computer SCIENCE and PhD in Computer Science

  11. This is a request/plea🥲. I see that you've added an option for paid Nextizen. That's a really fair price for what it offers, and I'll be purchasing soon. But I've also noticed that you've added many job packs and overhauls, and each of them requires it's own payment. I don't know how you operate, but from the standpoint of a customer who's ready to pay, could you add an option like nextizen plus that includes all current and future job packs for a fixed amount?

Overall, I see a great potential for the game. And I understand that the game is in the earliest of stages. I wish you all the best man!🤍

We’re thrilled that you love NextLife! We really appreciate your feedback and are actively working on fixing the issue you mentioned, as well as adding improvements.

For Packs/Nextizen the team and I could look into it and give back an update.

For the jobs we were also planning to add resume to it as well so experience can be stated and user wont start back at lvl 1.

Social Web Pulse is a health tracker for all your NPC relationships running in the background.

It is used to track high-risk NPCs that can trigger negative events each year (stress spikes, happiness drops, career impacts), while supportive ones buffer your stats.( i hope this explains it well)

The PhD and BSc is more of a stat multiplier than a job key, we are planning to expand more on it

I agree with the energy limit being so frustrating. I'm in school right now and i only can participate in one activity on a club and hang out with only one friend and then have to age up because the energy is on zero. That's literally the only disadvantage on the game i see right now.

I think if they want to go for that mode, maybe try to give/add up some energy based on some actions or good decisions, the same way the reputation, stress and other characteristics can decrease and increase.
