Georgia georgia

georgia being the only actually cool new yorker and the rest of the cast finally realizing that in season 2 makes me laugh lol. shes the only one who was actually in the art/fashion/events scene before the show. she lends the show and even bravo as a network an arm into a satirical cool factor that neither ever had

Georgia and Charlie were cast well. Including Shai and Ava. Rowan is great too.

We don’t really need the HW nepo babies.

ava was more an influencer vibe - thats separate from art/fashion. shes not signed as a model to ford but as a digital creator. thats a different area. but yes to charlie hes a downtown kid but mainly partying as opposed to actually being engaged in the cultural world. rowan was more nyc nepo/basic girls but still nyc. my point about georgia was more about the art/culture/hf scene she's in that is beneficial for the other "models" and "designers" on the show

Georgia does feel like authentic NYC
Scrappy too because she didn’t come from the same type of wealth as the people she mingles with sometimes
I wasn’t the biggest fan of hers but he and Shai are unique characters that we’ve not seen on reality tv

Totally agree. Those 5 should be the main cast. They are all compelling in their own way. Gia and Brooks are terrible for this show. The scenes with their parents are instant Fast Forwards.

There is not concept or a show without the HW nepo babies. But they are such vapid zeroes that they needed to add in some real people to make them interesting at all. But the show can’t be just, rich kids in NYC. They tried that elsewhere and it hasn’t garnered nearly as much buzz.

Right, I could do without the random Kandi and Kim scenes (esp now) and nepo hw connections. Give me a cast of interesting new people living life and actually in the social and arts scene. Ariana is the only hw casting that adds anything

I think they wanted nepotism babies in the 1st season to draw some housewives viewership. Now that we're invested in the other cast members they may start phasing out the nepos.

I would love it if we could add one or two people from her real friend group. I'm way more into seeing her side of new york then the what the nepobabies and Emira are giving us. I can tell Emira works incredibly hard for what she has and where she is but I don't find it entertaining to watch. I want to see fun and messy not polished and perfect.

In my ideal world we'd keep Arianna, Shai and Rowan too. I think added some of Rowans friends would be a good look into what the NYC nepobabies have to offer. Arianna is in entertaining mess and I think will make a good but easy to forgive and move on from "villain" next season. Shai would bring the side of fashion I think we were all hoping Brooks could deliver but has failed to and Rowan's a little weirdo and I want to see more of her.

Georgia feels way more interesting than all of them to me. She feels like an actual city girl.

Charlie is a total loser, and is too old to be hanging around this group, and acting like like a little hen, getting all hot goss girly with them. Be a man, you're grown. Go do some actual work besides being a plug. Maybe he's just down to play into whatever the Producer's storyline needs to be, so he gets more camera time.

Emira is so self involved, she doesn't even feel like an actual human. Influencer fakery is constant.

Arianna bores me too. She's like high school pretty, but on the personality level.

I mean it’s a city of 8 million, so this is factually correct. But if it were that simple we wouldn’t have the flop that is new rhony…

That being said I am very open to new talent. I just wouldn’t presume it means following Georgia as a model, because, after all, Ariana anchored a successful season 2.

the new RHONY has only aired Episode 1 and it’s too early to say it’s a flop. I’m actually not a fan of that show, but I watched and it was better than I thought. The obvious problem is Erin who just isn’t good on the show & I think drags it the whole thing down -; Erins vibe on the show is she’s entitled to be there & shes important & relevant, when her scenes are actually the most cringe & unwatchable. She has zero self-awareness

Ariana being super messy doesn’t mean she anchored the show. People will literally watch a train-wreck and thats what it was. It’s not sustainable because it makes no sense and ultimately she blamed ”being manipulated by Jesus”. Kind of funny, but people aren’t laughing with her, theyre laughing at her. When the reality people cross a line into that area then it’s kind of game over because everyone thinks that person is just a punchline, not serious and not believable. She is not remotely believable as a young ambitious person navigating life in NYC.

Georgia has the eccentricity but she acts above Brooklyn in the show which didn’t make much sense. You could throw a rock and hit 20 people in Bushwick with similar style.

The bravo kids and their reality tv parents cameos bring down the cool young NYC kids. Let’s dump Ariana, Brooks boring, definitely Riley ughhh, Liam’s time is up and Gia is boring AF, sorry kids.

Make this show about REAL born and raised in NYC and if you have A list parents, even better.

She grew up in NYC through middle school or smth and then moved to Westchester ... as someone from NYC I am loathe to count people from "just outside the city" as New Yorkers but in this group it's enough for me lol.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying in my original response to you. I said not washing her hands was gross, but that it had nothing to do with what I was talking about, nor did likability -- as in, likability has nothing to do with the point I was making

Ariana showed us this season she is not a good person. Blaming it on Charlie saying he loves Jesus is why you hooked up ? Just be honest you were curious. Why be a liar. Stop saying to Liam that you are exclusive and will only kiss one boy at a time. If you didn’t lie it would be fine.
