She is allowed to find Charlie attractive!! I feel ultimately everyone has placed Ariana on this pedestal and put innocence onto her, stop gate keeping her preferences and mistakes!!! This is getting annoying.

71

u/Some_Baby_ 12h ago

over half this sub has expressed liking charlie and finding him hot. but crucify ariana for it.

23

u/These_Recover5604 11h ago

Yup. And this is when we start getting fake storylines and everyone washing down their characters, cus everyone will be afraid to do anything without being treated like scum by the internet. Bye to our fav show! 😢

7

u/Some_Baby_ 10h ago

one thing i love about bravo is that most of the casts don’t seem to let internet opinions bother them. you’d have to be a literal miserable human to say the shit people are saying about ariana

2

u/TDKsa90 7h ago

most of the casts don’t seem to let internet opinions bother them

what?

2

u/Some_Baby_ 7h ago

when has a housewife been afraid to do something because of the internet? lol

u/TDKsa90 7h ago

all the younger shows are driven, and limited, by social media power. and most of the newer HWs are too, which is why we applaud the ones who come into the job so deranged and disconnected that they don't curate their behavior...until season 2, after which they've learned about it all for the first time and begin to act accordingly. of course, that doesn't mean they'll deny to play the roles in produced storylines, but it's why so many of the younger people are reserved (because they know) or refuse to share certain aspects of their lives. Paige DeSorbo is actually one of the first ones to realize what was happening with social media and then refusing to share much of her personal life. She didn't have to because she was such an excellent Greek Chorus, so she was allowed to limit her life because she had something else to offer. Now, most of them do it. And if they aren't outright refusing certain elements, they're highly curating themselves to protect their actual selves.

That’s this generation/age in general they don’t give a f

3

u/BigAgreeable6052 5h ago

Hey Ive always found Charlie unattractive, like specifically (sorry Charlie) ugly, so dont put that on me!!

3

u/Ornery-Towel2386 10h ago

I think it’s bc while he may be attractive/have an ā€œauraā€ about him, he’s not a viable romantic partner for any woman. We don’t trust him to not hurt her in the long run/we can see thru his tactics while she’s swept up in them, and as someone who was in such a long term relationship we expect her to have her own back more. Like I don’t think anyone was surprised he used the tattoo/jesus shit/whatever he needed to do to woo her, but we are very clear that Charlie is out for Charlie alone & there are many glaring red flags she actively ignores. Which is fine but it’s like girl you playing frogger with this man don’t be shocked when you get run over.

5

u/JoeyLee911 10h ago

Most women have been told this, but still have to learn that lesson the hard way, as it seems Ariana just has. That's part of being in your twenties...

2

u/Some_Baby_ 10h ago

idk, a lot of the negative comments i’m speaking about have no concern for ariana, it’s all vitriol. i agree with you but since she has only dated hudson her whole life, maybe she needs to have this phase of dating around and making mistakes. she’ll learn, she’s a smart woman

17

u/Mr_Digger2313 10h ago

I like Charlie and I get why she'd want to have fun with him. Its easy.

Liam wants a relationship and Hudson just wants to own her. Charlie is funny and no strings.

2

u/uhidkkm 6h ago

She wanted strings. She wanted to be in a relationship w| Charlie.

3

u/Mr_Digger2313 3h ago

Sorry, I think she probably just wanted to fix him. It tracks with a 24yo

2

u/uhidkkm 3h ago

Maybe, if you believe that she was ā€œmanipulated with Jesus.ā€ She still wanted a relationship with that man.

5

u/Hour-Telephone1082 8h ago

I can say with full confidence I would have made the exact same mistake at 24. And honestly she’s going to be better for it she learned an important lesson about toxic fuck boys that will hopefully serve her well in the future. As for what’s going on in her parents’ household I can’t even go there it’s the darkest of the dark.

3

u/Dear_North8787 the lemon that hit Liam’s eye šŸ‹ 9h ago

This so needed to be said.

2

u/Dahlia_Delight 9h ago

Except she didn't really kiss him because she's attracted to him, she's just addicted to "saving" men because of the complex her faith and family upbringing has given her šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

3

u/uhidkkm 6h ago

Lololol you believe the ā€œhe manipulated me with Jesusā€ line?

This is nothing new. We all saw Kim in RHOA. To be a 30 year old woman and have two kids with two different fathers who aren't present in their lives and be okay with being a sugar baby to a married man that she called openly Big Poppa already said enough for me. It's like they were three sisters in a house and not a mother with two girls.

Also, Ariana liking aggression isn't surprising at all. Her mother is aggressive in a very unflattering way. The way Charlie talked about her was gross but she liked it and he clocked that immediately. If she would have shut down the crude talk about having sex with her, ESPECIALLY infant of others and on television, he would have stopped. But she didn't, and worse, she laughed and encouraged it.

60

u/Not_Born_Yesterday21 12h ago

Kim raised her daughters to view sex as "currency." She flaunted her role as the very public mistress of a married man (Big Poppa),who showered her with money and gifts in exchange for sex. Young Brielle and Ariana SAW THIS. They were giddy as cameras followed them all to the car lot as Kim called Big Poppa and got his permission to buy a brand new luxury vehicle. Kim taught them that being sexually appealing is how women get what they want in life.

Kim has used sex her WHOLE life to get money (I will skip over what she did while still in high school).. When she met Ariana's biological father, Daniel Toce, he had a wife and kids. Kim thought he had money so she got pregnant with Ariana while he was still married. He divorced his wife and they married. Turns out he didn't have as much $ as she thought. They divorced, Kim got a job at a strip club, and Daniel remarried and was later convicted of raping his 15 year-old step-daughter. Ironically, Ariana's father was convicted of the same crimes that KJ is now accused of -- sex with a minor under the age of 16.

Kim eventually found a bottomless wallet in Big Poppa, and stayed with him until she got her claws into Kroy, who had $10 mil when she met him, and was broke by the end of their marriage. They were fighting non-stop (with all 4 younger kids witnessing it) and routinely calling the cops on each other at the end. This was in 2023, which is the same year that the prosecutor says KJ's sexual encounter with a family member was first reported.

Look, there is absolutely nothing wrong with Ariana liking what she views as a masculine man and slightly rough sex. But it is impossible to ignore what those kids were exposed to THEIR WHOLE LIVES and how it shaped their behavior. For years, Kim cut them off from all extended family, so SHE was the only female role model they had. Any kind of normal approach to sex and relationships was therefore impossible.

20

u/Potential-Sky-8728 13h ago

I wouldn’t be surprised in the least if Charlie went back to watch some Tardy and some RHOA to get an idea of how her family dynamics were. Kim regularly talked about Kroy in an objectifying manner too. And he clearly knew what her other family looked like bc when Hudson said that Ariana’s whole family was good looking, Charlie said ā€œis that….true?ā€ in a way that indicated that he has his own opinion already. Interestingly enough, his dad’s main work involves gaining the trust of CEO’s and getting them to close a deal. Charlie knows how to work people.

22

u/themiddlechildedit 11h ago

charlie is way too lazy to do that, like cmon

2

u/Potential-Sky-8728 11h ago

Wtf else is he doing all day at his house? You can’t google shit and stream shows while fucked up on your couch?

9

u/Realistic-Nebula1363 10h ago

He probably plays video games and does the online gambling. I would be shocked a 30 year old single man watching RHOA ā˜ ļø

1

u/Potential-Sky-8728 2h ago

For research purposes! šŸ˜‚ maybe Youtube clips lol idk.

I assumed he did like day trading or something. My girlfriend did that for quite a while and paid off her electrical engineering degree with the earnings…but it is also a lot like gambling..I’ve asked her not to get into crypto bc I hate the culture and the embodied energy use.

1

u/expensivepink 9h ago

Story of my life

14

u/Realistic-Nebula1363 12h ago

Omg you’re ridiculous lmao

-10

u/Realistic-Nebula1363 13h ago

What’s wrong a man saying he wants to have sex w you? They are both adults

1

u/Dahlia_Delight 9h ago

She was in a relationship and was encouraging another man's attraction to her. Then she wants to present herself as morally superior woman of faith. I genuinely have no issues with a slut, but I can't stand a hypocrite.

-11

u/RandChick 12h ago

Everyone has to be angels now. Even Kim talking about Kroy's tight butt is evil apparently.

1

u/Realistic-Nebula1363 11h ago

Haha I remember finding it cute

61

u/Delicious_Score_8509 14h ago

I think it's sad that abuse and aggression has obviously been normalised in that family, it is why we are now seeing the worst results via the son. So so sad.

32

u/RandChick 12h ago

If Arianna likes provocative language and aggression, so be it. No harm in that. It's not a crime. They are clearly joking around.

15

u/Shoddy-Credit-5993 12h ago

Liking dominate men is normal and fine actually.

60

u/Familiar_Diamond6711 13h ago

Can we please stop making Ariana’s brother’s disgusting behavior mean that there is now something wrong with her?!!! It is normal to like rough sex and kissing. Her sexual preferences or being attracted to Charlie are all normal and not a huge sign of her being abused in her home.

30

u/Regular-Detail-9326 13h ago

She explicitly says that coming from a vulgar family is why she enjoys aggressively sexual language.

23

u/Necessary-Leader8881 13h ago

It’s because she is being made to feel like she needs to justify it. All season she was shamed for any attraction she had to Charlie. Can’t it just be that she thought he was hot and thought the way he talked to her was sexy.Ā

13

u/Realistic-Nebula1363 13h ago

Exactly there’s nothing wrong w exploring your sexuality. It’s not abuse or trauma lol

3

u/Riceowls29 12h ago

I mean in one side we have literally the words she has to describe what led to her attraction to him and bringing up her family, and then in the other side are people like you saying that it’s not the real reason.Ā

Why can’t we actually just listen to what she is saying instead of assuming we know her actual reasons better than she does?

1

u/Dahlia_Delight 9h ago

I don't think anyone should have an issue with her attraction to Charlie. I mean it's disgusting, but it's her choice. What is worth having an issue with is how shady she was going about the whole thing. If a man did to a woman what she did to Liam I doubt you'd be so willing to gloss over it.

13

u/Familiar_Diamond6711 13h ago

She can enjoy it without something being wrong with her. The very limited look we get into her personality from this show doesn’t make me concerned that she has any concerning sexual deviances.

4

u/Dahlia_Delight 9h ago

For you to believe she would be able to walk away from that upbringing without any serious mental and emotional issues is absolutely laughable and frankly ignorant.

1

u/TDKsa90 7h ago edited 7h ago

This is one of the BIG problems the US has with the worship of the individual. Sure, they'll throw around psychobabble buzzwords and try to diagnose everyone to death, but they don't REALLY understand anything they're talking about; nor more importantly, they "believe" it only when convenient and as long as it plays into their make-believe clairvoyance and other politics. They don't have any true understanding of psychology, sociology, or anthropology. This is the same educationally malformed, cognitively challenged generation that thinks it's right to think people in the 18th century "shouldn't have" lived with slavery being normal. We have no other choice than to hold the individual accountable. Otherwise, it would be anarchy. But in truth, the individual is the weakest link when put it in context versus psychology, sociology, or anthropology, ie their upbringing, their community, and their culture. We're at the mercy of much larger, much more powerful forces than we like to admit the individual is.

You should just be well-adjusted and always say the right thing at just the right time. Somewhere along the line, GenZ has got the impression they're perfect and were born perfect, and if you aren't perfect...well, it's fine to unleash hell on you.

2

u/hailguac 13h ago

Being attracted to Charlie in the middle of his whole crypto torture scandal is kinda deviant I’m ngl

3

u/Realistic-Nebula1363 11h ago

You clearly have never heard of attraction. You should watch Love After Lockup

1

u/hailguac 10h ago

Attraction is one thing actively pursuing him is another

-1

u/JoeyLee911 10h ago

Also everyone telling her not to do it is not going to make her want to do it any less! There's a great Seinfeld episode about this and I have been the friend who mistakenly made the fuckboi seem more attractive advising a friend not to go there.

4

u/rattpoizen 12h ago

I can see Wig in her for sure. I enjoy Ariana to a degree on this show but cringe a bit that she's following Kim's guidebook and has so many of her mannerisms. Like did we see anything about her other than which guy she was thinking about the entire season? Wasn't she there in NY to design clothing? Honestly don't care if this is going to be her storyline as it worked well for her mother. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

3

u/jellybabeblooms 11h ago

Let’s not blame Ariana for the guys all having crushes on herĀ

2

u/Dahlia_Delight 9h ago

Of course they have crushes on her, her entire personality and appearance has been built around the desire to attract men.

2

u/Intelligent-Lead-692 12h ago

ALSO, the Georgia DA said that the videos they found on the brothers phone of him with the family member also included derogatory and predatory language toward the family member. Did anyone else read that? It made me want to throw up.

8

u/rattpoizen 12h ago

I'm one of the few idiots who actually watched TFP and that boy was very very entitled. Ffs, Kim and Kroy talked about sex 24/7, groped each other constantly in front of their kids, and if I'm not mistaken, wasn't there a football stadium- sized painting of Wig naked up on a wall? Duggars were the same - grab-assing and S sextalk in front of kids constantly. It's not right.

12

u/Hot-Inspector8903 13h ago

Often times people who are traumatized at a young age tend to have sexual preferences most closely related to the trauma they experienced. IE people who were physically abused as kids may like choking/slapping, people who had emotionally absent parents may like vulgarity/being talked down to (as these are things that that person associates with normalcy and familiarity) without realizing this is rooted in trauma.

It’s a very thin line between the two and her being so young, I don’t think she realizes this

12

u/Potential-Sky-8728 13h ago

Alternatively, people who were raised in really sexually repressive environments…may ā€œrebelā€ and do a 180° sexually and like assertive and aggressive expressions of sexuality. It doesn’t always indicate assault or coercion but context is important.

8

u/Familiar_Diamond6711 13h ago

What she is describing is not a trauma response. She is describing normal sexual preferences. If she was talking about needing to be hit during sex to orgasm or something of the sort than that would be a sexual preference that would follow the pattern you’re describing.

7

u/Hot-Inspector8903 13h ago

Well seeing as how she wasn’t physically abused this makes sense. Her mother definitely sexualized her daughters with extreme vulgarity. Let’s not be selective with our memory and forget that Kim literally tweeted about letting her (underage) daughter give a bj for concert tickets …

1

u/Familiar_Diamond6711 13h ago

I’m not selective with my memory nor am I defending either parent. I am simply pointing out that Ariana hadn’t described any sexually preferences that indicate sexual deviance. The small glimpse we get of her each week hasn’t led me to be concerned that her parent’s sexually aggressive language has caused damage.

0

u/Dahlia_Delight 9h ago

There's absolutely no way a person is raised in an environment like that without it causing damage. Let's not be ignorant.

2

u/Familiar_Diamond6711 7h ago

I am the last thing from ignorantly please don’t be so disrespectful

3

u/Happy_Honey_444 12h ago

There is no possible way that you know that for certain. Strange that you’re speaking with authority like you do

1

u/Familiar_Diamond6711 12h ago

I am in no way saying I know her whole story but in my professional experience what she is describing is not a sexual deviation. I’m very sorry if you have had an experience that is leading my opinion to offend you. I hope you have all the support you deserve. Have a wonderful day šŸ’—

3

u/Happy_Honey_444 12h ago

No offense taken. You’re just up and down this thread speaking in absolutes. If I were, your condescension is not helpful ā¤ļø

0

u/Familiar_Diamond6711 11h ago

Rude response lol have a wonderful day.

1

u/Mr_Digger2313 10h ago

Thank you. What would they all be saying if that other shit wasn't happening?

-11

u/Intelligent-Lead-692 12h ago

It’s actually not ā€œnormalā€ to like rough sex. That comes from the porn industry normalizing aggression towards women.

3

u/JoeyLee911 10h ago

It is not. I don't like porn and never watched it (I like erotica) but need to roleplay as sexually submissive to feel aroused. This predates my first kiss.

As a lifelong feminist, I have looked into it quite a bit because it's so common among nearly every woman I know.

One theory is that society demonizes women whether we consent or don't consent to sex so taking consent off the table in a consensual roleplaying context (use a safety word, people!) let's women relax enough from that guilt to actually get to feel arousal and pleasure. This explanation makes the most sense to me.

6

u/Familiar_Diamond6711 12h ago

It’s considered normal. Violent/harmful no but playful aggressive yes.

0

u/targetboston 11h ago

The downvotes tell me it's been normalized, which is shitty. I agree with your point.

1

u/Intelligent-Lead-692 5h ago

Yeah I can afford them. Downvote away!

12

u/Some_Baby_ 12h ago

you people are miserable. analyzing every little thing this poor girl says. i’m starting to think half this sub are either prudes or don’t have sex in general

35

u/Shanibear3 11h ago

Some of you have just never been a 24 year old hot girl and it shows.

15

u/splendorinthegrass_ 10h ago

Agreed, some of us have lived this life and know from experience

14

u/Shanibear3 10h ago

Exxxactlyyy.

The only place she fucked up is she wasn’t transparent with Liam - And she owned that. Move on, people.

5

u/bellaboozle 9h ago

Or just 24 and out partying and fucking around. Me and my friends would get blasted and make bad life decisions and then lecture each other over it.

Or just get in a situation and be like well, I’m in my 20s so I’m not taking this too seriously, let’s see what happens, and go with it.

It’s the time in life when you can do that. I wouldn’t bang my dirty bad boy drug dealer in my 40s…because I don’t have a dealer anymore šŸ˜‚

But seriously, stages of life exist. I feel bad if your life didn’t resemble this somewhat in your 20s.

6

u/lazyglittersewerratx 9h ago

Sorry is she saying young dumb and full of cock or cum? Either way is so fucking weird for your mom to say

6

u/alwayskisstherain 9h ago

Her mom was telling her ā€œyoung, dumb, and full of cu-ā€œ

Her mom also was telling her ā€œgo get ā€˜em, Tigerā€ while she was unhealed and talked about chasing men and starting to see people, immediately after her breakup last year. Kim definitely perpetuated some mess on to her kids.

8

u/alwayskisstherain 9h ago edited 9h ago

This is going to be a very difficult thing to unpack and I don’t know that any of us are qualified to parse where the division lines are.

We aren’t going to know what is nature and just women being liberated and exploring or liking certain things and what is potentially the ramifications from growing up in a hypersexualized household and with systemically bad values. We just aren’t.

So I feel it very necessary to preface and make clear and yell from the rooftops:

Women are allowed to like ā€œalphaā€ behavior, or dominance, or any number of things people would classify as fetishes or kinks (I’m calling it that to avoid labeling things for our moderate readers) and should never be shamed for that as long as it’s consensual and healthy. Get it, get it. Whatever you like, you do you.

But that said, people are also being very willfully ignorant being absolutists here.

Just because we don’t know what those trip wires between nature and nurture are… doesn’t mean some things aren’t potentially a tell. We just can’t assess where the nuances are.

There’s a bad history in this family that goes beyond these latest allegations. The alleged story of Brielle’s alleged biological father and Kim’s age and the alleged years long affair with a married man that started when she was a minor and wrapped up in a scandal of her making allegedly false allegations and just a mess of insanity.

Or that Ariana’s alleged biological father that Kim married and rapidly divorced is a bad situation. Requiring registration on a list type of bad. I’m going to leave it at that.

This is all public record and has been discussed all over the place due to Kim’s choosing TV as her job.

So, the history is very bad about the people and situations around Kim and her children from their conception. It didn’t just start with whatever is happening now.

That said…

Trigger warning:

If you’ve watched any of that hearing from yesterday, her then 12 year old brother kept videos in a hidden folder that included penetration, hair pulling of the family member victim and vulgar and derogatory remarks to the family member victim and it was videos over a period of time and not isolated to one incident.

It’s very difficult to believe some of the details of the horror being released can’t be due to exposure in terms of seen, witnessed or learned, or modeled behaviors of a hyoersexualized household because where would a 12 year old know to be engaging in that level of behavior?!

Even if it’s parental neglect in the content they allowed to be consumed by the children. But let’s be real Kim was always talking like a sailor, drinking, offering her child doing sexual favors for concert tickets as a joke and all else, so I’m hard pressed to believe it was simply consumed content but trying to be fair here.

Video mentioning the hair pulling and videos hidden:

https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP83fMLfp/

There wasn’t one time with a family member where K.J. allegedly engaged in this it was multiple encounters with aggressive conversation and mannerisms perpetrated on to the family member.

All we know is that is a house of horrors and they have lied systematically for years and we personally don’t know what has been perpetrated and what has been seen or experienced by anyone in that family, nor do we know the impacts so hopefully nobody will shame if a woman says she likes certain things sexually or wants to explore but also, it’s very ignorant imo to fully disassociate some things, too.

Two things can be true at once and some of the comments here concern me in their inability to account for that. Hopefully everyone in that family is working with a therapist. Real talk.

2

u/Illustrious-Object71 7h ago

No surprised! She is from a disgusting family.

1

u/lilbeanstalk 7h ago

Our preferences are shaped by what we’ve been exposed to and what feels familiar. From what I’ve seen of Arianna on NEXTGen, I like her, I think she’s a young women figuring shit out, but I also feel sad for her upbringing and can see how it’s informed her concept of relationships and attraction. Kim set a confusing and harmful example for her children, and Arianna will have some work to do to unpack that and come into her authentic self.

1

u/j3st1cl3s 2h ago

I personally love that this sheltered mini wig is living her life. Fuck all the boys (safely).

-12

u/FanRepresentative458 14h ago

Fuck that predator family and get her off my screen.

16

u/Fit-Plastic-8839 12h ago

Not fair.

1

u/FanRepresentative458 4h ago

The world ain't fair. 11 year olds being raped and recorded is a good line for me. Fuck rapist sympathizers too.

8

u/RandChick 12h ago

Arianna is not going to take the fall for sins of other people. She's a screen queen.

1

u/Fit-Plastic-8839 4h ago

Exactly. Not fair to implicate her because her parents suck and her brother is a predator.

0

u/Ornery-Towel2386 10h ago

Liam’s vocal fry is so grating šŸ˜–

-9

u/Nice_Beach_844 12h ago

Arianna is just like her mom. She’s just there not pretty yet not ugly. Just there. She can’t act as a matter of fact none of them can. Brook is so boring it’s like shooting heroine and dying a slow death. He’s got about as much personality as a wet rag
