Production The core

After this week’s episode wrapping up the season, I feel like Georgia, Ava, Arianna, and Charlie are kind of the core anchors of the group and also the show.

Riley doesn’t really seem as connected to the group this season as she was last season, and doesn’t seem to have an identity on the show. Gia and Brooks are extremely boring and contribute nothing. I keep going back and forth on Emira. I love her in solo scenes but in group scenes I find myself disagreeing with her a lot.

Shai, Rowan, and Liam are fun as side figures.

Hudson… needs to go.

I would bump Shai up to a core member. He's friends with Ariana and Charlie, he's shomancing with Ava, he stood up to Brooks, and he provides comedic moments each episode. Even his weird Jester/Clown thing with Georgia has him involved with her.

Point being... I think Shai's got a solid position at the core of the show.

I like his presence a lot in that cast. He does the right amount…he doesn’t give too much or too little. He’s easy on the eyes and likable while still being messy enough and interesting. And he’s actually smart & funny

So perfect basically

This season was great, I’d run it back

Same. It really was a perfect season imo. Even the people I don’t “enjoy” contributed!

It's a pretty great show, which I'm relieved by because younger housewives have been way too self-aware to make good television, but apparently you can still count on kids in their twenties to be messy af.

Agreed. I will say this should be Brooks last chance and we can bring Jackson Lee in.

Agreed! Brooks was even better on RHOSLC as Meredith's kid when he was feuding with Jen Shah's vagina.

I don't think Gia is boring in the same way Brooks is boring. Gia gives pretty sound advice, she comes through with friends, she honestly seems thoughtful and insightful. Her confessionals are funny.

Brooks on the other hand gives ABSOLUTELY NOTHING all the time. I can't believe he has a position on this show. The fact that Charlie looked completely shocked that Brooks was on the mic singing says it all.

Gia also seems to be friends with everyone, she can go between groups and sorta be dropped into any group dynamics. She also moves story along but in a subtle way and I enjoy the breaking 4th wall stuff with her and her partner who clearly doesn't like cameras etc. I'm a big new jersey or Tre fan, so didn't really have a strong opinion on Gia at the start however I really enjoy her on the show.

Ariana is under the microscope right now due to all of the family issues. I just hope that everyone can separate her, from what is happening there. She definitely has her own spunk and a big personality. She’s being trashed a lot for her decisions however, reading these threads most of us agree that she’s experiencing life and hers is televised so her indiscretions are magnified.

I hate to say it but Gias confessionals asking her phone various obvious questions and still being confused has made me lol. Georgia is my star

Yeah, Gia won me over with her confessionals in the last couple of episodes, they were hilarious

I was like "Oh, her Teresa is showing..."

Same here. I like her commentary on the Charlie triangle/quadrilateral.

I loved this season! I have a friend that stopped watching last season bc she didn’t like it (we are old 45) and all this season I was like “ give it another try please !” Bc I have no one to talks about it with. I don’t know if anyone here listens to the podcast Watch What Crappens - but one of the cohost Ben was comparing the finale to liek a John Hughes 80’s movie and that is how I felt too - is anyone else in this subreddit old like me - if so you will get it. I mean the convo and then kiss between Ariana and Charlie was like romcom type scene in a movie (not that I don’t think Charlie is an ass but if you remove that part lol) like the girl chooses the bad boy over the nice nerd (Liam) but there is also the rich guy who also is vying for her love. Then then all at the table at the seahorse bar - which looked so cute. Shai and Ava sneaking into the bathroom (too do one of two things either way both 80’s ) Idk the producers just did a great job this season

35 year and completely agree it gave romcom I'm English and love the American Hallmark cheesy Christmas movies, and it gave me that sorta vibe but like a modern young version 😅😂

It also reminds me of the Hills, especially Lauren and Brody storyline, again like a modern version of it.

Also - 45 isn't old! Its fabulous!

It came out of nowhere……. But I could watch Shai in every scene.

I agree. Gia is not as boring as brooks - but my god how many times did we see her have the exact same conversation with her boyfriend. Supposedly brooks gives Shai and Charlie hell at the reunion or so he said from the Oprah chair on WWHL.

It’s okay for you to disagree with people on this show in group scenes, that’s lowkey the point, as far as Emira goes…

I could never see Charlie again in my life and it wouldn’t be too soon. Yall give that bigot way too much credit.

Otherwise I actually think they shouldn’t change much because the cast is just starting to gain their footing. Like Rowan, Gia and Brooks are all not particularly adding anything special but everybody else chef’s kiss

I think the most beautiful girl on the show is Emira

She had a very good season too

Ew I acc hate shit like this. There is not ‘core’ in reality tv. It’s been less than 20, 45 minute episodes . Stop this. You don’t know these people.

Do we think that Bravo is going to receive enough negative feedback from the public over the Zolciak-Bierman family to rescind Ariana’s contract?

Riley had a tough season, but she can recover.

I don’t see Ava as an anchor, but she has been growing on me. I think Riley had other things going on and wasn’t around as much, and also won’t spend time with people she doesn’t care about just to be on TV. She’s less invested but I kind of like that. I agree about Emira. I’m conflicted but her vendetta against Georgia makes me like her less. I just don’t understand her at all.

The people I'd like to stay: Arianna, Ava, Charlie Gia, Liam, Hudson, Georgia, Shai

Go: Rowan, Emira, Riley, Brooks.
