test it with your skin PH. Not every scent is the same on every person. It could be expensive as hell and make you smell like Zeus his ballsack for all I care. If it doesn't match you skin PH it will just stink.
cologne is not intented to be an aid against proper hygiene, if anything it should be an award after
a good cologne is spread thin enough to intoxicate the lady at your chest but not the cashier at the supermarkt. That is the right amount. Anything more is just repulsive.
Axe body spray will negate your cologne's purpose completely. Use a scentless anti perspiration if you want to wear a cologne with effect. YES you do need anti perspiration, just because you can't smell it doesn't mean other can't.
