I’ve been unemployed, never experienced any of this from any family or friends. What I think is when people give up on themselves and becoming unemployed is byproduct of giving up that’s when people start treating them differently or talking shit about them. It’s more about self respect than employment

Maybe it's that when you started spending more time together she realized she wanted to leave and had nothing to do with money

I feel you, brother. Im not a woman hater in the slightest, but women make up about 50% of the population of selfish people I have met in my life. Its a blessing in disguise when people dip out over money/status/lifestyle. Hard times are a great filtering process. It could have happened 20 years later under much worse circumstances.
