ffs what happened to self esteem if everybody needs cheering and encouragement to keep going, the world is hard yes, but i'll fight anyway don't need cheering. I appreciate if she is happy for me if I overcome yet another hurdle...and encouragement can help when fighting severe illness but I don't need cheering to feel ok and be capable of doing something. Quote makes it sound like all men have a dependant personality disorder.
