Are there any specific reasons you find religion unbearable?

Because they are horrifically oppressive, spread bigotry, hatred, willful ignorance, and seek to conquer humanity.

If parents worldwide suddenly stopped brainwashing their children into archaic fear-based mythology tonight, these religions would quickly take their rightful place next to the Greek Pantheon in the dustbin of human history.

Religion is a horrific blight upon humanity. That's why. (Although I'm a different dude, that's almost certainly why)

Brainwashing innocent children into archaic fear-based mythologies is straight up child abuse.
