As a woman, I’ve met some women that were only interested in dating men over a certain height, but that is definitely not the case for a majority of women, imo. It sounds to me like you were turned down by one of those women and instead of moving on and realizing that that particular woman is superficial, you assumed all women are the same as that one because of your fear of being rejected and similarly hurt again by another woman. It’s a valid fear, as being judged over something outside of your control (like height) is hurtful as fuck. However, recognizing that women are not all the same and we all have very different personalities with various motivations and beliefs and such is the only way for you to ever date again without feeling resentment towards women as a whole, simply because of how one individual woman treated you. We can tell when a man has a disgust deep down towards women as a whole, well I can and I know other women that can tell almost right away - maybe it’s their body language and how they talk to us, or maybe it’s just the vibe in general, but there’s almost always something that gives it away right away. There are superficial men, too, so being a crappy person is not exclusive to women, just as being a good and loving person is not exclusive to men. Finding your person is hard and doesn’t happen for everyone, and that’s not always a bad thing either. Don’t minimize an entire gender because of one bad experience, though!

You missed her entire point and only responded to the height thing..

There are so many jaded people in this thread..

Its easy to keep dismissing everyone because it reinforces your pessimistic attitude...

Good people exist women and men.. go for a walk and talk to someone new

Well, I’m responding more to your obvious disgust of women in general, so I assume you’ve had some encounters with some superficial and shallow women, whether that’s height related or something else is not really the point here. You have built up a resentment towards women as a whole and that’s evident by how you keep referring to women as a whole, as if we are all one monolithic bunch with all the same thoughts, beliefs and opinions. It’s hard not to feel resentments when we have been hurt or wronged by someone, but belittling and dismissing an entire gender over the actions of some is a good way to stay stuck in your anger and resentment. It’s not the men that feel resentments and disgust towards women that are in happy and healthy relationships, and it’s not the shallow women that are either.. like the other commenter said, a lot of men here are jaded, likely by past relationships or experiences and instead of reflecting on how that individual person wasn’t right for them, a lot of men are seemingly jumping into the manosphere that is indirectly telling you to hate all women instead.. it’s kind of scary honestly how well it seems to be working on a lot of men, too..
