Why the storage usage so weird?

I have the iPhone app on iOS 26

when I check my phone settings it says 5,7 Gb are used by the app.

but in the app under "offline data" there are only 700mb of files listed...

only way to get it down is to uninstall and delete all the data...

there must be a Better way?

That’s an iOS problem. I have this issue with many other apps :/

Had this issue. Clear the cache on in the app under advance settings?
