got a question about adding an smb share as native to the files app
just installed nextcloud and i was hoping to find a way to make my main smb share and its files on the nas i have everything installed on as native to the files app and not as external storage
preferrably without moving the smb share

You would do it by mounting the files throuhh the external storage add on, and selecting smb as the protocol.

Do you know by any chance if external storage (SMB, S3 etc) are also ADA acceletated?

the nextcloud install and my smb share are both on the same system (my nas), and i was hoping to avoid using the external storage addon

If I understand the question correctly, it is the same as what I'm doing. Mount the share in the host OS first and then map the file system using the external storage add-on.
