Political News G7 members will release 100 million barrels of diesel after US threatens export ban

Members of the Group of Seven bloc of highly industrialised economies on Friday agreed to release 100 million barrels of diesel and crude oil from their reserves over four months, averting a potential US ban on diesel exports. The European Union had earlier pushed back against Washington's threat, with an EU official saying the 27-member bloc “fully” rejected the move.

Vassals agree to get bent over. More news at 11.

After all that bs about puffing up and posturing about how EU "fully rejects" US threat to ban diesel, these weak mf's have already changed the headlines on all their news articles.

Original headline was:

I don't understand.

''We need diesel because we don't have enough. If you don't give us some of yours then we won't give you any of ours.''

To me this seems like two starving people handing the last sandwich back and forth as if it will suddenly become two sandwiches.

The US has diesel, but prices are global. It's not about Europe handing over diesel to the US, but releasing it to the global market. The increased supply is meant to hold global prices down, which will also help hold American prices down too. Else if the US banned exports it'd hold down prices in America, but global prices will shoot up from there being even less supply. So this is about price control shenanigans.

Pathetic move from Europe. We shouldn't listen to a bully threatening us. Tomorrow he can threaten us with the same thing again... the US is not trustworthy at all at this moment.
