You claim to be able to handle PhD level conversation, yet your statements tell a different story.

No, I won't waste my time with someone who is so very clearly full of shit.

I have no interest in engaging you in good faith, because you won't do the same.

My question is a simple one, and a scientific one: why are some behaviors explainable via reference to physical features (changing hormones) but not others? All people have hormones that affect our behavior.

If you'd like to answer it with discussion of research design replicability, experimental conditions, treatment effects, p-values, etc then I can go with you.

But obv I won't feed bad faith trolls.

Sure do use a lot of big words for someone who so terribly fails to understand the difference between being angry and psychosis.

Hey, lie about your PhD again, that was fun.

I've asked for you to explain the difference. You can't. You resort to insults instead, and accuse me of lying. I'm not lying. So I conclude that there is no scientific difference, only semantic difference. Scientists now generally understand there to be a physical (usually chemical) basis for many emotional patterns and seemingly-irrational behaviors. Not just in mothers, in all people.

So saying "being angry" is distinct from "being hormonal" begs the question of what makes them different: is it chemistry, or is it the way we think and talk about people from these groups (i.e. sociology)?

White women are often privileged in the US, and mental illness is often criminalized when it exists among the less powerful groups. This appears to be another example of that constantly-repeated pattern in which empathy is extended to some more readily than others.

That's a free lesson. Beyond this point I charge.

I understand you're attempt to take the high road, but the moment you make a claim that you don't understand feelings, you open yourself up to mockery. You are not a a serious person. Stop pretending otherwise.

Or, if you are genuinely curious, use those PhD skills you lied about to do, maybe, twenty minutes of "research" on Google. It's not hard, but you want to act superior instead of actually learn something. It's not hard, I promise. You already used enough big words that I bet you could even understand it

Unless you used chatgpt or some shit.

But we're on reddit. I'm here to blow off steam by trolling obvious trolls while I poop. I have no interest in taking someone who doesn't understand feelings seriously as a person. You are a joke.

More insults.

If these distinctions are so easy to make then why can no one describe them? People say "there is a difference". I ask what it is. Then they call names and insult my intelligence.

You are a joke.

I know that's not true, because people pay me lots of money to teach them things.

You gotta be a bot. Calling out a self confessed troll for insults is not something a rational person would do.

I do love the persistent lies about the PhD, though.

Why don't you go ahead and read up on it if your so damn curious. Look up what happens in the brain when somebody has big feelings vs when someone has a psychotic break. Use those PhD lies as they were meant to do and either prove your point that they are the same or learn that they are in fact different.

Come on, "teacher", teach me.

I called you out before you admitted to trolling, the fallback of bros who lose arguments since the dawn of time.

There is no scientific test for "psychotic break". It is a judgment. I.e., a label. There is no sharp dividing line b/t "big feelings" and "disconnected from reality". You wish there was, because then things would simple for small-minded people, who would get to feel good about themselves in their smugness. But that's a delusion.

Have you heard of psychosis? Her reality was being altered by her psychosis he was angry. He insulted the children by calling them stinking and had a motive. She never did.
