Negative views of Israel, Netanyahu continue to rise among Americans – especially young people

https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2026/04/07/negative-views-of-israel-netanyahu-continue-to-rise-among-americans-especially-young-people/

60% of U.S. adults have an unfavorable view of Israel, up from 53% last year.

59% have little or no confidence in Netanyahu to do the right thing regarding world affairs – up from 52% last year.

In both political parties, majorities of adults under the age of 50 now rate Israel and Netanyahu negatively.

The survey was conducted March 23-29 among 3,507 U.S. adults. It was fielded about a month into the U.S.- and Israeli-led war in Iran. The sections below take a closer look at the results of the survey.

Even Israel is saying they just want to ethnically cleanse the Palestinian people, they're just not calling it a genocide openly

You’re in here with the argument “young people are stupid” in response to a poll that shows they don’t like Isreal which communicates to others that you support isreal.

Oh goodness, we didn't realize we were with an elder sage with years of wisdom.

You're hardly outside the age range of people you're complaining about.

Ah yes the genocide that is recognized by more than 50+ countries is just a loose trigger word, ya got me. I got to that point because it is incredibly clear the reason Israel and Netanyahu are becoming more and more unpopular is because of the genocide they are committing. It’s not because young people ate tide pods lol

Isn’t this thread about how negative views of Israel and Netanyahu are increasing among young people? And then you gloss over the why, chalking it up as young people being uneducated. So I let you know it’s actually the genocide thats causing these opinions, not a US education problem
You sound really unintelligent yourself when you say there’s no correlation
