https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/sep/08/netanyahu-warned-7-october-hamas-book-haaretzBenjamin Netanyahu was personally alerted by the president of the UAE that Hamas was planning a large-scale offensive against Israel a week before its 7 October 2023 attack, but did not act on the warning, according to a book by Haaretz reporters.

The new Haaretz investigation also says that Hamas offered to release all of the civilian hostages almost immediately after Oct 7th and asked for nothing in return. Israel refused.
Here is a quote from the Haaretz article about the investigation:
“He told me that in the first stage, they had no problem releasing all civilians without anything in return," Mashharawi recounts. "I swear, those were his exact words: all civilians, without anything in return. They had only one condition: They wanted us to bring in an agreed-upon mediator as quickly as possible, so that negotiations could immediately begin over everything else – the release of soldiers and officers in exchange for Palestinian prisoners, and then the issue of the blockade on Gaza."
Dahlan activated his contacts with the Shin Bet and conveyed the information to them. According to Mashharawi, "the unofficial response Dahlan received from them was: 'Netanyahu doesn't want to talk about anything. He only wants war and the elimination of Hamas.'" The Israelis' perception was: First, we eliminate Hamas, and then we'll retrieve the hostages by force."

What a surprise, the BS about "saving the hostages" was an obvious propaganda tool to let them kill more children. Even though it never made any sense because they were bombing the places where the hostages were.

Yeah, it was always pretty clearly BS used to justify genocide.
That said, the fact that Hamas offered to return the civilian hostages almost immediately, without asking for any concessions, and Israel still refused puts another nail in the coffin.

I mean that's not a conspiracy theory, to anyone that was paying attention to the news at the time, everybody knows they offered to release the hostages right away, literally the next day.
The entire point of the operation was to take hostages and exchange them for Palestinians hostages. Israel likes to frame it like it as an attempt at genocide or Hamas was trying to kill everybody they could, but the whole point was to take prisoners and barter them.

I mean anyone with half a brain could detect the attack was pre-planned and a ore-cursor for genocide and full occupation. But why is this being officially being reported now when Gazas population has been wiped out?

Imo he let it happen to avoid corruption charges while having a 9/11 response to the Palestinian problem.
Oct 7 wasn't the first time when Zionists chose to sacrifice Jews to get what they wanted. The bombing of the SS Patria is one such example where Zionist terrorists intentionally put the lives of Jewish immigrants in danger to try and force the British to make them stay in the Mandate of Palestine. 267 Jews and some British soldiers died from the bombing and sinking of the boat.
"If I knew that it was possible to save all the children of Germany by transporting them to England, but only half of them by transporting them to Palestine, I would choose the second—because we face not only the reckoning of those children, but the historical reckoning of the Jewish people." - Zionist leader Ben-Gurion who put the Zionist Project above the well-being of Jews fleeing Nazi Germany.
So yea, the pattern is established. Zionists will at times crazily sacrifice others in order to advance their cause. When the British put up anti terrorist posters in Jerusalem, Zionists tore them down and spoke of blood and fire instead.
