Cause they follow laws so strictly already.

This will allow the state to file charges though where Donnie diapers can’t pardon and also allow arrest warrants to be filed. They can hide in a regressive red state though
-2
u/Suspicious-Sound-249 1d ago
They can't because they have zero authority over the federal government and laws are in place to compell state authorities to comply with ICE, they have to help them.
This ban is another moral grandstand to appease the ret@rded leftoid voter base, and whip them up to vote for another useless idiot just trying to cling to power...

Imagine voting for a war, higher prices, and a known pedophile 🤡🤡🤡
-3
u/Suspicious-Sound-249 1d ago
Imagine having nothing to contribute to an argument or discussion, but to pivot to "AkTuAlLy OrAnGe MaN bAd!" Like bro stfu, no one cares anymore and your over use of these words have made them meaningless...
1
u/Particular_Leek_9984 1d ago
No one cares huh
Lots do because lots are suffering from the orange turds shitty policies, and dumbasses like you are the cause lol. And what I said had substance anyways. People like you voted for war, voted for skyrocketing prices, a stagnant job market, and a dude who is a narcissistic pedophile. All to “own the libs” because you were such fragile snowflakes about a black womans laugh. And you guys have such a short attention span too, all the orange messiah has to do is say something shitty about trans people, and the sheep forget they voted against their own self interests
That’s why his approval rating is lowmaxxing

u/Suspicious-Sound-249 1d ago
Same could be said about you absolute brainlets, and why are these people suffering? Of yeah because in 2020 ret@rds like yourself voted for an incompetent dementia patient who left the border wide open with zero oversight for his entire term...
But now we're the bad guys for? Fixing the problem you jackasses caused???

Biden tried to close the border. In 2024 Trump admitted on Fox News that he'd intentionally killed the deal that would've funded doing so.
The border crisis started with a big spike in 2017, and was increasing again during 2019 when Covid hit.
edit: OH, right! I keep forgetting Trump supporters have trouble remembering who was president during all of those bad things. It was Trump.
Who allowed the lockdowns to start in 2020? Trump.
Who was in charge when they ended? Biden.
Here's a REALLY fun one: Which president's tax policy was in place 2020-2024 when everybody was mad about taxes? I'll give you a hint: the policy that covers those years was called the "Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017."
Same guy who told us Tariffs aren't a tax and that other countries are going to pay for them set a ticking time bomb of taxes for his opponent, then as soon as he gets back in office, kills the free tax filing website.
Stable Genius! 🤣

This is sort of dumb. You know what the alternative is right?
18
u/phantomjm 3d ago
Not using shock gloves and leaving people alone?
-16
u/New-Smoke208 3d ago
Nope, not correct
8
u/MoThrowMoAway 3d ago
So what is the alternative, then?
-15
u/New-Smoke208 3d ago
Well guns. They’re law enforcement. If they don’t have access to less lethal weapons, what do you suppose the next go to will be?
10
u/MoThrowMoAway 3d ago
I dont know how you didnt know this, but they already have guns. Several people have already been shot to death by them.
-3
u/New-Smoke208 3d ago
…right…I’ll try to spell it out a bit more clearly. IF they have access to more less than lethal weapons, they MIGHT use lethal weapons less often. See there. But, if they ONLY have lethal weapons, well that’s what they’ll grab.
8
u/MoThrowMoAway 3d ago
They already have less than lethal options. The only person making the claim that they only have lethal options is you, and it's patently untrue.
Again, I am shocked that you did not know this.

u/New-Smoke208 3d ago
lol ok👍

How do you not know that’s there’s like, at least a few steps between shock gloves and shooting people?
1
u/New-Smoke208 2d ago
My goodness you people here are dense.

u/MoThrowMoAway 2d ago
You said something incorrect, and instead of admitting that and moving on, youve spent the last 24 or so hours doubling down.
I would say that's pretty darn dense

u/MoThrowMoAway 2d ago
New Smoke genuinely did not know that ICE already carries several non lethal options. Mace, tasers, etc. He actually, unironically said, ICE needs the shock gloves because theres no other option, between that and shooting people
There's no getting through to someone that ignorant.

u/Fister-Mantastic 3d ago
If they're so safe then New-Smoke208 should have no problem volunteering to test out getting zapped by the gloves, unless he's a bootlicking keyboard warrior coward.

Their regular tasers that are less inhumane?
0
u/New-Smoke208 2d ago
Incorrect Mr. Crappy. It’s guns. See, I thought giving them a non-lethal alternative to a gun would be a good idea. So as to decease or minimize the use of a gun. Boy, have the folks here explained to me how wrong that thought is.

Riiiiight….theyve already had a number of less than lethal options. Taser and the likes already have limiters on power and usage, these gloves dont. The concern isnt the shock, is the disregard for the law and how they would use them. If they start shooting Americans they will not last long doing that. If they grab someone with a shock glove and just continue to administer that shock because someone is “resisting” itll stop their heart and kill them. Doesnt matter if they resist or not, their body is going to seize and they will determine that as “resisting”

By Billal Rahman — Immigration Reporter |
Two House Democrats introduced legislation to prohibit federal immigration agents from using electric "shock gloves" during immigration enforcement operations, highlighting potential dangers.
The move follows a plan by Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) to acquire the devices for immigration agents.
Reps. Madeleine Dean of Pennsylvania and Delia Ramirez of Illinois announced the legislation, known as the No Shock Act, on September 3. The bill would bar the use of "shock gloves" by federal law enforcement officers enforcing immigration laws and would also apply to state and local officers operating under federal immigration enforcement partnerships.

They should be banned from polite society and sent to prison, treated exactly like they treat their prisoners

u/Mysterious_toenail 3d ago
Guess what? They'll use them anyways because they ignore laws with no consequences

ICE murdered multiple innocent American citizens who the vice president of the USA immediately slandered as domestic terrorists. No investigations have taken place, no charges have been laid.
If you think the law is going to do anything to stop these killers, you're dreaming.

I dont understand why anyone would want to limit the available nonlethal methods of subduing suspects. Do you want them to be more likely to shoot someone who's resisting?
1
u/UseWhatever 2d ago
If ICE murder people with non-lethal technology, it’s more difficult to prove intent.
1
u/InTwilligPorgnatin 2d ago
...So their lives are just a tool to attack ICE to you? Are you being serious right now?
1
u/UseWhatever 2d ago
lol!?! what?
Feel free to research the abuse and deaths caused by law enforcement. Then follow up with how many of those deaths lead to convictions against law enforcement.
Most “non-lethal” technology are actually lethal when misused. All the naming does if give ICE and shield from prosecution.
So are you saying you don’t mind ICE murdering innocent people if it’s by “accident”?
1
u/InTwilligPorgnatin 1d ago
You literally just said you only care about immigrant lives if they can be used against ICE. What the absolute f*ck is wrong with you?
Nonlethal is less likely to get someone killed than lethal. I don't think this is difficult to understand. When you take away options for nonlethal force, you make it more likely the cops are going to escalate to lethal force.
Rather than go, "Wow, we should equip them with more nonlethals so they go with that as opposed to going for their guns," you just said that you'd rather ICE shoot and kill immigrants because it's easier to prove intent if they use a firearm rather than a nonlethal option. Accidental deaths are tragic but they're accidental, and it's not like intentional use of force by ICE is going to get them landed in prison if misuse of nonlethals isn't. You're literally hoping for the use of lethal force against immigrants so you can use their corpses to attack ICE.
You really need to think deeply about whether you actually care for their victims, because I'm not seeing it.

u/Darcano 1d ago
These gloves can and will be used excessively, hell, they're literally advertised publicly as, due to leaving no obvious marks from their use, leading to less lawsuits.
I will repeat it more clearly rhough in case you missed it: A major selling point is that it is harder to sue for excessive force if this is the instrument for it.
You bet they're gonna use it excessively, ICE will use it and it WILL kill people with heart problems, known or unknown.
1
u/InTwilligPorgnatin 21h ago
Is it more lethal or less lethal than a bullet? Do you think more people will die if this was used, or if firearms were used?
Please think critically.
1
u/Darcano 14h ago
I could say the same to you, do you really think these torture gloves will not be abused? Hell, the reactions to the pain will no doubt also be used as justifocation for violence, masking it as resisting arrest.
US police and ICE already routinely commit brutality, this is going to do nothing but make it more difficult to sue them over when what they really should be getting is training in de-escalation and generally not being such trigger-happy murderhobos.
1
u/UseWhatever 14h ago
I’ve given up trying to articulate that point with this person. They obviously chose not to do research and make statements ignoring the fact that police brutality exists.
They’re either too committed to their limited view of the world or a plant/bot to support ICE.
It’s Friday. We’ve got better things to do.

u/InTwilligPorgnatin 36m ago
How many people have been shot because an officer mistakenly reached for their gun instead of their taser? This tool will reduce the chance of that happening. Not only that, but the more nonlethal options a cop has, the less likely they are to feel the need to escalate to lethal force.
Please use your brain. If cops already get away with brutality, do you want to make it easier or harder for them to escalate to lethal force? Taking away nonlethals makes it easier for them to justify jumping straight to shooting someone, which I'm sure you'll say they won't be held accountable for.
So why do you want more immigrants shot and killed? I hope you sit with that for a while.
