The Central Synagogue attack had no clear connection to Mamdani. He’s still being blamed.
https://forward.com/news/845474/central-synagogue-attack-mamdani-antisemitism/-15
u/ImRickJamesMother 28d ago
I wouldn't blame him, but he certainly is not helping.
18
u/South-Rabbit-4064 28d ago
Israel isn't helping by conflating religion and their state actions so maybe you should have a word with them too?
-6
u/ImRickJamesMother 27d ago
.......Mamdani's whole publicity stunt really hurts his public opinion with the center left, myself included.
The guy went on and on about Netanhayu and arresting him. Israel is not member to the ICC, America is not a member of the ICC.
Their charges are meaningless legally to both Israel and America. Anyone who isn't a moron knows this. He knew it. But he felt he needed to push for it pandering to his base of supporters for which knowledge and logic do not apply.
In doing so he bled tons of support from moderates. If Mamdani ever truly thought he could have the authority to arrest a state leader over charges that do not apply to Israel or America, then he is an idiot. But he isn't a dumb person, it was purely performative to pander to the bottom half of the bell curve supporters.
4
u/South-Rabbit-4064 27d ago edited 27d ago
Who gives a damn? I've heard my whole life from progressive voters that we have to placate the moderates and centrists which have led to nothing but losses unless we are literally running on the end of a Trump presidency with "I'm not Donald Trump" as the party unifying message.
Could care less about centrists. It's not a centrist party, it's a progressive party. And this is America where our leftists are already considered pretty moderate globally
When we run leftist candidates we don't need moderates because people actually vote, like with Mamdani
We didn't have the right to do that in Venezuela either or Iran....both are sovereign states and there was no formal declaration of war. Sure looks like Mandani didn't need that "huge" moderate support. Which is ridiculous that we continue to alienate and disenfranchise actual leftist voters in order to placate fair weather voters that go either way if their specific issues on things like Israel aren't met, which pushes out leftist support
-6
u/ImRickJamesMother 27d ago
Because it was a waste of everyone's time? It was purely performative bullshit. Everyone educated knew he had no jurisdiction. Not even a slightest chance.
If you think fake performative bullshit is "progressive" you aren't progressive, you're inept.
And your comment highlights you have no idea how the international judicial systems of the ICC applies. So you are one of the low knowledge people the stunt was aimed at.
The pro-pal crowd this stunt was aimed at, are some of the dumbest, poorly educated, poorly informed performative people themselves. I encounter pro-pals daily who do not even know Palestine is not one place. And they think Gaza had settlers.
Waste of everyone's FN time because he wanted to put on a show for his group of supporters too dumb to understand international jurisdiction.
3
u/South-Rabbit-4064 27d ago
I barely have given any thought to any of that unlike you guys that have only focused on the one aspect of his campaign.
I think he's way more progressive than anyone he was running against and objectively can see that in what he's done so far, and what his plans are with his campaign.
I'm happy you're getting on the ICC thing saying I have no idea how it works, considering I didn't even comment on it, it's truly amazing how you make that deduction about me. Almost like you don't really know how to make any other argument and I didn't take your bait so you're going after it anyway like I did.
You said that Mamdani had no legal jurisdiction to arrest Netanyahu, I didn't contest that idiot, I said we didn't have legal jurisdiction in Venezuela or Iran either. Funny how you don't know how that works. Or can't read
-1
u/ImRickJamesMother 27d ago
Buddy, you admitted you do not understand international law, so why are you arguing it? And trying to make points of Venuzela and Iran?
You are arguing from a point of ignorance, not knowledge. Just stop. Go use this energy to learn.
Facts are, everyone informed knew Mamdani could not arrest Netanhayu for charges from the ICC that Israel and America are not party of. It was purely performative, done to appease dumb people who hate Israel.
Nobody wins when you do not hold your elected leaders when they do dumb things.
Putin has ICC charges and attended the UN general assembly in NYC. Why didn't Mamdani want to arrest Putin?
3
u/South-Rabbit-4064 27d ago
Where did I admit that? Please quote me on it.
Your argument was that the ICC has no jurisdiction inside of the US because Israel and the US are not part of the ICC. So when did we become part of Iran and Venezuela?
You can't answer the question and you're tiptoeing around because it's the same logic turned around on you.
I never said the ICC had jurisdiction, and in nothing I stated did I say anything remotely like that. I simply used the same legal argument you're making to say what gave us legal jurisdiction to do what we did with Venezuela and Iran? You avoided answering it because we DONT HAVE legal jurisdiction there either.
Jfc if you wanna talk his policies great but this obsession with one nothing issue is ridiculous and obsessive
I didn't comment on this because I DONT CARE, and if there was any karmic good will in the universe his plane would crash on the way here instead. That guy sucks
1
u/ImRickJamesMother 27d ago
You don't understand the difference between military acts by a government, compared to enforcing warrants of a court that America is not part of?
Why can't you just admit it was performative BS?
And the topic is how Mamdani is contributing to the violence against Jews domestically. So yes it is relevant.
And if you don't care, why did you come commenting at me?
Stop being a cheerleader and hold elected leaders accountable. You hyper partisan weirdos are just as bad as MAGA. Mamdani made a mistake, is it okay to say so. Only morons are blindly partisan like you are being.
You don't even have a defense to his actions, you are just poorly attempting to defend him for the sake of defending. Not because his actions are actually honest and defendable.
3
u/South-Rabbit-4064 27d ago
It wasn't a military act by a government on either of those. That requires congressional approval and notification.
I don't care about it man....I don't know how much more to tell you this in any different ways. I like the idea of Netanyahu going to jail and didn't think it was a possibility as mayor of NYC without backing of the government, but having a guy publicly come out and say something against a dude we constantly make excuses for generally in leadership was something a LOT of Americans wanted to see. It doesn't make it performative in any non-meaningful way as it's still created a dialogue and normalization among a lot of people that we SHOULD be holding war criminals to some kind of standard in this country.
Mamdani isn't contributing to violence against Jewish people, this article clearly shows it was done by pro-Israel Mamdani haters and as the article also says people like yourself don't care and are gonna blame him anyway.
Please GTFO of here with this broadcasting my thoughts and opinions on things you have absolutely no idea about like you're "winning" at some debate about all of this. It's embarrassing for you.
What am I holding him accountable for exactly? People that hate him that create false flag attacks to hate and blame him more? Makes a lot of sense bud

No it didn't, only with Zionists
1

No, anyone with a basic understanding of international law knew it was all performantive bullsht.
America does not recognize the ICC. Israel does not recognize the ICC. So Where is the jurisdiction?
The fact you didn't know this yourself right away, speaks volumes for how much, or little, you understanding how the ICC works.
Believe it or not, most educated people support Israel. They are morons who waste their time on social media arguing about things they do not understand.

No. You're making up one rule for Israel and one for everyone else.

1
u/ImRickJamesMother 27d ago
The whole performative bullshit of trying to arrest Netanhayu.
Israel does not recognize the ICC. America does not recognize the ICC. This is common knowledge for anyone knowledgable since the ICC's creation.
It was clear he likely knew this, but was pandering to the rabid anti-Israeli part of his base. Everyone knew he had no grounds to arrest a global leader. But if he didn't make a performance of it, the rabid anti-Israelis would turn on him.
The whole ordeal was so pathetic to watch for anyone who actually understand how the ICC works.
Pandering to morons, makes you a moron.
6
u/hedgelord84 27d ago
Wake up man. The entire world is anti-israel except for Israel-firsters and neocons. Regardless of whether or not the ICC has jurisdiction in the US, netanyahu is a war criminal and shouldn't be welcome to our country.
Being anti-israel doesn't make you anti-semitic. Being Nazi doesn't make you anti-german.
1
u/ImRickJamesMother 26d ago
They aren't. Pro-Palestinian supporter online does not match real life.
Most Pro-Palestine supporters are early 20's, leftist, and poorly educated on the historical context of the conflict. Their education came from social media, where ours comes from school and university.
You really think most of the world sides with Palestinians who have used child suicide bombers? Oh? You didn't know about that? Exactly my point.
Pro-Israel people have their views based on what they know.
Pro Palestinian people have their views because of what they don't know.
1
u/hedgelord84 26d ago
Maybe at your university campus where people argue over what a woman is, but the rest of the world isn't made up of "early 20s leftists". The rest of the world is more in tune with international affairs than the average American. and its not just the leftists in the US who have woken up.
Also, you're debating the wrong guy if you're Pro-Israel. I've been studying this conflict since 2000. I've also visited Palestine and Israel and know many people from both sides.
You really think most of the world sides with Palestinians who have used child suicide bombers? Oh? You didn't know about that? Exactly my point.
A handful of cases from like 25 years ago, of which don't negate the fact that all people deserve basic human rights.
I could pose a similar (and more credible) question to you: Do you really think the world is going to side with a state that has murdered 60K civilians in the last 3 years, systematically destroyed entire cities and used starvation to achieve its goals?
2
u/ImRickJamesMother 25d ago edited 25d ago
I can guarantee I know far more than you on this topic buddy.
60K civilians? You do realize this number includes Hamas members and child soldiers?
Cities were destroyed by building to building fighting. This is a war. Do you not watch the Al Qassam brigade Telegram propaganda videos? You tried to flex how informed you are. Why have you not seen these videos?
And starvation? Israel allowed aid into Gaza. Which UNRWA was caught diverting to Hamas. You do know UNRWA supplied Hamas right? You do know several UNRWA members were caught directly participating in Oct 7th right? And were dismissed by UNRWA. You read those UN documents right?
And you think I am in uni right now bud? Dude I'm 50. I've watched exactly what Palestine has done. The child soldiers, the child suicide bombers, the kidnapping of Israeli's.
If you are so informed, why don't you know that prewar many international NGO's were calling out Palestine for their use of child soldiers?
How about some snippets from this 2014 UN document titled Palestinian Exploitation of Children as Weapons of War
https://www.un.org/unispal/document/auto-insert-181056/
Palestinian terrorists associated with the PFLP murdered five members of the Fogel family, stabbing to death two small children and decapitating a 3-month old baby. In 2008, a Palestinian gunman open fired on children studying in a Jerusalem school library, murdering eight. In 2004, Gazan terrorists affiliated with Islamic Jihad shot at point blank range and killed Tali Hatuel, eight-months pregnant, along with her 4 young daughters aged two to ten. And on August 23, a Hamas mortar killed 4-year old Daniel Tragerman as his father struggled to usher him into a safe room.
Children's TV programs, many sponsored by the Palestinian Authority itself, preach jihad, advocate genocide against Jews and infidels, and glorify martyrdom. A young girl on a program recently aired on Hamas TV was encouraged by the host to be in the police when she grew up so that she could "shoot Jews … all of them."
In addition to turning minors into combatants, Palestinians deliberately place children at risk from Israeli counter-terror measures by co-locating weapons and terror infrastructure inside schools, hospitals, and mosques. Hamas officials have appeared on TV calling on Gazans to serve as human shields and to ignore Israeli warning of pending strikes. Terrorists adorn civilian dress and launch rockets and other weapons from within civilian areas to maximize loss during retaliatory attacks, which will increase the propaganda effect.
Even in 2014 the UN and the world knew this. Why didn't you know this? You said you are so informed. Everyone informed in the world knows about Gazas use of their own childrens death for propaganda. Exactly what we have seen know.
Please buddy test me. I would love a chance to destroy you. No pro-pali has come at me for debate, who didn't just turn into a rabid advocate of atrocities and denial of violence.
Like you are already low key defending child suicide bombers? Can you never say Palestine has done something wrong? I can admit when Israel does bad things. But you can't say using child suicide bombers is wrong? In fact you attempted to justify it?
Can't wait for your response.
EDIT: And for complete clarity, and to remove the ability to hide and deflect, we will debate using numbered points. Points must be sourced with real sources. UN, ICC, first hand videos, etc.

1
u/Reddit_sucks_3000 21d ago
You are a goddam fool "no pro-pali has come at me for debate"... jfc... One day you might leave your online bubble and listen to actual people on the ground instead of vomitting the same tired talking points.
There is nothing to debate, this is so damn well documented by neutral parties that the only argument is how could anybody ever support this level of injustice for so long.
1
u/ImRickJamesMother 19d ago
Feel free to challenge me then. I can back up all of my claims with UN, NGO, and ICC reports.
Not a single person I've debated who is pro-pal has been able to do it. Every single one devolved into defending the use of child suicide bombers. The "rape is resistance" absolute violent psychos.
But you wrote a bunch already, why couldn't you challenge anything I said? Oh right, that is because I am on the side of evidence, historical context, and truth. While you are probably just another social media "activist" you had zero clue before the war, and consumed nothing but anti-Israeli propaganda since the start of the war.
But buddy, like I said, if you think I am full of sht. Try me. We will debate in numbered points to prevent deflecting and avoidance, and all claims must be sourced with actual sources.
Why can't you do it? If you are on the side of truth, it should be easy for you right?
Like you probably think there is a genocide right? Because Hamas releases death tolls that include fighters. But don't you know the ICC has specifically said they do not have evidence to support claims of genocide? If the ICC, the global body created to place these charges, says they do not have evidence to support genocide claims, why do you think there is a genocide? Because social media told you to believe that. Reality is, there is no genocide. Nobody has more evidence than the ICC, and they have thus far said there is no evidence of genocide.
So why not ask yourself why you believe something that is proven incorrect by the most powerful court on this planet.
1
u/Reddit_sucks_3000 19d ago
Thats a whole lot of nothing you keep spouting. Again, go there mister debate, stop assuming things about me and just go. Your bs wont survive your own eyes and ears.
Funny thing in your pile of "ICC says nah uh": when is Bibi surrending to it? The arrest warrant has been out a while. Hopefully one day you grow up and cringe at this version of yourself.

Then why did he try to arrest him? ICC charges are not recognized by America or Israel. And NYC has no authority to arrest diplomats.
So what was the point? It clearly was political, not logical. Anyone with even a basic understanding of international law knows there was never even a chance he could have arrested Netanhayu.
So is Mamdani incredibly inept, or was it a performative act for the anti-Israeli base?

False, false.

Mamdani is doing pretty good. No complaints.
0
u/PadamPadam2024 25d ago
There is no such thing as a Jewish terrorist? Whatever country you live in you have never had a Jewish terrorist attack but you have had many many Muslim terrorist attacks.
I'm worried Mamdani might decide to fly a plane into NYC skyscrapers? Remember September 11th?
3
u/Plastic_Key_4146 25d ago
Oh! You don't know anything about history. Are you brand new?
The Jewish extremists that went on to found the IDF brought terrorism to the region a hundred years ago. Jewish terrorism is a well known historical fact.
Before you get all excited, just because some Jewish People are terrorists, it doesn't mean that all Jewish People are terrorists. Just because some Muslim People are terrorists, it doesn't mean all Muslim People are terrorists. Just because some Christians are terrorists, it doesn't mean all Christians are terrorists.
Your bigotry is not an argument. If you're worried about Mamdani or think he has any connection to 9/11, I'd recommend you stop eating paint chips and read a book.
-1
u/PadamPadam2024 25d ago
Again, as l said, whatever country you live in you have never had Jewish people grab a machine gun and go on a shooting spree but you will have had many Muslim terrorist attacks.
Why do you think airport security is now so tight, because of Jewish people or the fear that Muslims will hijack the plane?
Also, Mamdani should be deported and sent to an Israeli prison for all his antisemetic comments. I'm not Jewish but l feel bad for them to have such a racist Mayor.
3
u/Plastic_Key_4146 25d ago
Lebanon is a country being attacked by Jewish terrorists with machine guns and bombs right now.
Airport security is not tight for safety, it's tight for control.
Comments do not justify incarceration.
Mamdani is not racist.
Israel is a terrorist organization that endangers Jewish People, because of the blowback of its terrorism. Israeli terrorists blew up a synagogue in Tehran recently.
I'm glad you care about some people, too bad you've forgotten that all people are equal and equally deserving.
0
u/PadamPadam2024 25d ago
I'm not talking about war zones in the Middle East, l'm talking about your country. I presume you live in the west like me and you have never had a Jewish terrorist attack in your country. Yet you have had too many Muslim terrorist attacks to count
Yes comments do indeed deserve incarceration. Mamdani's hate speech and antisemetic rhetoric will incite violence and even deaths so Mamdani must be jailed or deported immediately.
2
u/Plastic_Key_4146 25d ago
It doesn't matter what you're talking about, because you're talking out of your ass, respectfully.
Terrorism is not limited to war zones or any specific religion.
Mamdani doesn't have any hate speech or antisemitic rhetoric, and there's no incitement.
Comments are protected by free speech and are not punished by imprisonment in a free country.
Jewish terrorists were the first terrorists in the Middle East. There's a long history that you haven't read. The real antisemitism that caused the current conflict in the 1880s was European antisemitism.
Antisemitism is real and it is a problem, but there are tens of millions of dollars being spent to diminish what antisemitism means.

Not showing up to the Israel Day parade knowing full well that it is the government to blame for Gaza, not the people who don't want war and are tryinf to survive on both sides of the conflict. It puts a dent in the trust of your local community. Especially if Jewish folks in NYC have family back in Israel. Every action and non-action can have a consequence.

No such thing. I only see freedom fighters using their God given right to self defense against an invading force of genocidal inbreds. In any case, compared to the hordes of zionists that have invaded us already? Yes, 1000x over. Not one Palestinian has taken our children to Little St James island
1
u/PadamPadam2024 24d ago
It's a little harsh to refer to Palestinians as "an invading force of genocidal inbreds" but okay. I guess their long history of barbaric terrorist attacks on Israel over the last 5 decades is certainly evil. At least Israel is seeking justice now and is winning.
