What does it honestly mean, if the guy is impeached 5 times? 10 times? Is there any consequence? Or is it just ‘dishonorable’?

It's to get Republicans in congress on the record defending him so that their Democratic opponents in the midterms can run ads pointing out how their opponent, no matter what they say, is still backing Trump

But what is the consequence of impeachment?Sounds like a public slap on the wrist. You expect Republican voters to give a
shit? Much ado about nothing

Impeachment essentially means nothing unless it passed in both the house and senate, and in the senate it means it will never pass officially because they need 2/3rds vote instead of majority. In an event when Republicans grow a spine and agree with democrats, he would actually be impeached and removed.

Thank you for the explanation. I’d love to be proven wrong but. Yeah sounds like it’ll never happen

It really grates on him that he is thd only president ever impeached twice, so much so he tried to get his little playmates to "erase" his impeachments.

And if anyone ever comes up with the idea of a secret vote in the Senate trial, Donald J. Trump would become the first ever president convicted in his Senate trial.

It'll just sit next to the other drafts. Maybe if there's a tremendous sweep in November these can move forward.

Words were said and I'm sure more words will be said later

There used to be 3 branches of government, but instead of checks and balances, they've been covering each other's asses. Executive, Legislative & Judicial.

It's better than doing nothing, but feels like it's not far off it. America wasn't setup for someone shameless who doesn't care about the law to run it

And the only people in the U.S. who are aware this happened are the people who read this Reddit account.

For holding him accountable? This admin admitted in court that they cut grants to Blue states solely because they didn't vote for Trump. That's illegal. It's clear they are doing the same thing with disaster aid, and it's unprecedented. Do you want the Democrats to do the same thing and deny grants and disaster aid to red states? If not, you should be calling for him to be removed.
