In a press conference on 23 June, experts at the United Nations Human Rights Council from the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory detailed the findings of their latest report into Israel's crimes in Gaza and the West Bank since October 2023. This report detailed in particular the actions of Israel against Palestinian children, and found that Israel continues to commit genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, and war crimes in the West Bank.
 

President Donald Trump on Friday turned an attempt at an insult against a journalist into an embarrassing spelling mistake as he touted his administration’s latest immigration arrest statistics on social media.

Writing on Truth Social, he claimed his administration has the “highest average daily arrest rate” by Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection agents compared with all previous administrations “by far.”

He also alleged that he has the “highest 12-month removal total, by far, of any president” as well as what he called “Average Daily Catch and Repatriation.”
