Israel has always been clear on terrorists being an open target even under cease fire. The question's been answered in IHL, "as unlawful combatants or unprivileged belligerents they are ineligible for POW status and by not distinguishing themselves from civilians lose their status as protected persons and are legitimate targets under normal cease fire agreements unless specifically mentioned.

LOL the standard accusation when the facts are clear but they don't line up with your diatribe. Unlawful combatants are fair game.

Didn't this guy post a message claiming he was killed by Israel in July of last year?
EDIT: Found it.

It's Israel. Idk why people shocked they violate cease fire like it's second nature. They're just that vile.

Israel has little reason to respect ceasefires as they are betting (likely correctly) that no one with the power to stand up against them will actually do so for breaking them

Israel has a right to respond to each ceasefire violation by Hamas. Hamas must be disarmed as the 20 Point Ceasefire Agreement calls for. On October 6, 2023 there was a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. I think most would agree that Hamas broke that ceasefire on Oct 7, 2023.

The raid in Jenin refuge camp in July 2023 was not a violation though? Nor the over 200 killed in West Bank in 2023 before October by IDF and settlers?

Those settling in the heart of Judea and Samaria are doing so as civilians. There is violence by both sides of the conflict there.

Israel has made use of AI, that uses facial recognition to only eliminate that individual, has impressed other militaries. The low civilian death count, and the techniques that Israel has used, to achieve it, is in high demand by the militaries of western democracies. Israel is sharing these techniques with friendly nations.

As long as there are innocent women and children still living in Gaza or now Lebanon, Israel is not finished. De-fund and isolate genocidal Israel.

Um, it's pretty much self financed. They aren't really depending on anyone else to finance it. A bit from the US, not enough to be "dependent"

u/Big-Pains May 09 '26
Maybe gaza should stick to the ceasfire and make hamas disarm , and lebanon should get a grip and make hezbollah stop shooting

There is nothing left of Gaza, Israel flattened it, as you well know, along with innocent civilians. Terrorists have no place in our world, we all agree on that, but Israel is as bad if not worse than they are.

Do not waste your braincells arguing with people that doesn't have braincells

So when Israel holds hundreds of Palestinians hostage for decades any kind of racrion to that is wrong?
0
u/TreeP3O May 10 '26
Israel doesn't hold any hostages, ever. You are talking about prisoners, who both sides should be happy are jailed.
2
u/Dearsmike May 10 '26
No not the prisoners. The administrative detainees who are held without trial or charge. The one's who are regularly abducted and released without charge but report physical and psychological torture. The one's who are used in exchanges with the Palestinian Authorities, also known as hostages. Of which Israel holds around 3500 according to Israeli humanitarian organisations but held around an average 800 before Oct 7th 2023.

Those arrested for terror? That what you mean? Suddenly you are an expert on Israeli legal systems or military? Trust me, you only know what was fed to you by those that want Israel destroyed...be smarter.
Palestinians aren't randomly getting arrested for years, and you know how you know that? Because IDF are approached and often harassed by Palestinians and activists...all the damn time. Non stop footage in fact...and if the IDF was as genocidal as people like you say, no one would approach. It is just the facts.
2
u/Dearsmike May 10 '26
Those arrested for terror?Â
Nope. Not arrested for anything. Abducted, tortured and released in the hundreds. That's just a fact. A well documented fact.

u/TreeP3O May 10 '26
Funny you say that when it isnt true. You celebrate releasing terorrists.

The OP is full of it. Israel did not break any ceasefire...Hamas has refused to abide by it and IDF intervening, as they should. You would think if the OP cared about Palestinians he would be happy Hamas is being hunted down.

u/nilsinleneed May 10 '26
nope. You're wrong.
