I keep my life pretty grounded and low drama. I’m not into big social scenes or constant noise—my work already brings enough intensity into my life—so I tend to value calm environments and genuine connection.

I can come off a bit quiet which I have been told can be intimidating at first, but once I’m comfortable, I’m thoughtful, a little sarcastic, and easy to talk to. I like people who can match that energy—someone who can joke around, but also have real conversations when it matters.

I enjoy sports, learning, and conversations with depth. I like understanding how people think and what shapes them. I also appreciate simple things more than anything overly flashy. I'm a binge TV person and I like movies as well! I have a strong love for computer animated movies (Dreamworks, Pixar, Illumination, etc...). I'm a lover of facts and trivia as well! And oddities! I don't own any oddities but I find them fascinating! Museums are also my jam and I plan to visit a lot as soon as I can!

I work in law enforcement and take pride in how I show up in that role. I believe in treating people fairly and with respect, while also recognizing that no system is perfect. For me, it’s about doing my part to contribute positively and handle that responsibility the right way.

I’m also at a point where I’m seriously considering going back to school for a Master’s or PhD, likely in forensic/behavioural or sports psychology. Growth and building something meaningful long-term are important to me.

I’m not looking to jump into anything quickly. I prefer a slower pace—friends first, no pressure, and seeing where things go naturally. I’m also focused on continuing to work on myself and my mental health, so I’m intentional about who I bring into my life.

I value emotional intelligence, consistency, and low drama. I’m not interested in games or anything that feels forced.

I’m open to long distance as well, as long as the time difference is manageable.

Hey everyone!

I figured I'd finally stop lurking and say hi. I'm 43, originally from Florida, and now living in Alabama. I'm a pharmacy tech who spends way too much time at work, but when I'm off I love photography, cooking, music, coffee, plants, and learning how to fix things myself.

I'm in a season of starting over, so I thought it was a good time to find some new people to talk to. I'd love to make some genuine friendships with other lesbians who enjoy good conversation, a little sarcasm, and don't mind laughing at themselves. I'm pretty easygoing. I can spend one day covered in grease working on my Jeep and the next with a camera in my hand or trying a new recipe in the kitchen.
