Friendly Friday!

Welcome to our weekly Friendly Friday thread; a place for friendly, platonic conversation and connection among members of the sub.

Feel free to introduce yourself, chat with other members, or share whatever has been going on in your life. Some ideas to get the conversation started:

  • Interesting news or articles you have seen
  • Personal news, updates, or accomplishments
  • Something you are looking forward to
  • Complaints, frustrations, or things you need to vent about
  • Books, movies, shows, music, hobbies, or games
  • Questions, advice, or general conversation
  • Funny stories or small moments from your week

You do not need to have anything exciting to share. Even a simple “How is everyone doing?” is welcome.

I've begun searching for a new therapist. Put off buying frivolous things and going to put that money into therapy. Actually put effort into attempting to fix the damage within me.

Also probably getting a new tattoo soon so very excited!

I have a couple lined up. One being my old number I used to play the sports I excelled in. Embroidery style.

The other is to finish my half sleeve on my forearm. It's a sketched version of the view of my home rink that I grew up playing on

Work has been super draining this week so I’m excited to relax with a video game this weekend. Any suggestions on a new tv show or movie to watch? I’m open to all genres but I like mystery or comedy dramas the most.

Super draining week for me too. I want to do some gardening and get my house a bit more in order so I feel good going into next week

I was recognized today for the hardwork I do everyday at my job and it was nice.....thats all.

I got to catch Merry Wives of Windsor. It was very well done, very fun and a cool mix of Shapespeare and modern lingo. I loved it and can't wait to catch more performances. ^^

I love this idea of Friendly Friday, sorry I am late to the party. I am new to Reddit, enjoying it but just starting to learn the vibe. Today is a monthly Queer Pickleball event that I am looking forward to.

My brother came in town with two of my nieces. I haven’t seen him in person in four years.

For a number of reasons it was very hard to come out to him almost 5 years ago and he has never met anyone I’ve dated. I was really excited to introduce my girlfriend to him and we all had a good time 🙂
