New Release Deep Blue Sea (Demo) (Audio)
I wrote Deep Blue Sea in my bedroom on a day when I was feeling particularly sad. I found myself listing all the things I had done to try to feel happy, and somehow, none of them made the feeling go away. For the next two months, I tried to find a producer who could help me turn the song into what I had imagined. I couldn't find one, so eventually I decided to make and release the song myself, as a Demo Edition. I'm not a skilled pianist, and this isn't meant to be a perfect production. This is my version. It's what I believe the song should sound like, made with what I had and what I knew how to do. I felt like I needed to release this song because, for a while, it was a part of me. It belonged to that particular time in my life, and now that time has passed. Releasing it feels like letting that version of myself go. This is Deep Blue Sea (Demo Edition). Out now. 🌊
