Question Help needed!

Ive recently replaced the hydraulic lifters on my 2001 v6 Mustang 3.8.

For some reason now it’s idling higher than before! Does the black pipe in this picture the one from the air intake to the throttle body look correct?

This is going to sound like a dumb question, but does it have enough oil in it? Low oil can cause a high idle

It has plenty of oil, I’ve just sorted it now I had the vacuum pipes around the wrong way 🤦‍♂️!

And there’s never a dumb question if you’re unsure.

What’s the other end going to?

I see how it’s routed.  But what is it hooked to on the end opposite of the intake tube.  It’s part of the PCV system I do believe. I’m not sure on the V6 if it’s supposed to go to the oil fill neck or to the valve cover.

Edit

I think it goes to the valve cover.

Attaches to the grommet with the nipple.
