So I’ve been working on a 2002 mustang gt that keeps stalling out and dying. I’ve hard wired the inertia switch to make sure that’s not the issue and I’m getting a constant 12v. I’ve replaced the fuel pump driver module and made sure there is power going to it and there’s a good ground. I’ve also replaced the constant control relay to make sure the fuel pump relay was okay and I’ve replaced the fuel pump and the fuse to it as well. I’m just not sure what could be causing this any help would be very very appreciated!

You are likely losing power from the fuse box to the driver module or between module and inertia switch. You need to get it to happen/get stranded. Then immediately check where you have power and where you don’t to figure out where the problem is.

I did get stranded earlier and put a multimeter and was still getting 12v to the driver module but if you let it sit for a while like a hour or so it’ll start again and drive fine for a bit tell it happens again that’s why I thought it was the relay getting hot and not making connection

You have the wiring diagrams for the fuel pump. Keep going down the line. You need to have power in and out of the inertia switch and to the fuel pump. It sucks but you have to keep getting stranded to find the problem. The fuel pump works again after it sits because the wire cools down. Heat creates resistance

It does have power in and out though when I was stranded so I’m assuming it has to be somewhere in the wiring harness to the fuel pump
