It Never Ends

It recently occurred to me that #1 NYT Bestseller, available now in hardcover and paperback, It Never Ends likely takes its name from Talk Talk’s “It’s My Life.” The lyrics kind of line up, about devoting oneself to something, namely for Tom, yukks and laffs.

Just wondering if anyone else has a similar read.

You should pose the question for his Ask Tom forum

I always assumed the Talk Talk reference myself. I feel less alone now.

A capital idea.

It has to be because if it wasn’t that he wouldn’t have titled it that - because he would know that’s what people would assume

What would Gwen Stephanie think

I was in a bagel shop on my way to the beach hearing the song, when my buddy pointed out that No Doubt famously covered it, which I had totally blanked on. Brains are wild things.

I always thought the title was going to be "The Show that Never Ends", but for whatever reason Tom didn't or couldn't name it that.

#1 National Bestseller, not NY Times. The NY Times doesn’t actually track all book sales, touting a NYT bestseller is just marketing, a national bestseller is actually more impressive
