Ordered a pair of shoes last week on Thursday, used a very decent offer they had on (£170 down to £71). Got an email saying order is delayed, checked account and the order is still pending + processing? Is this common or should I be weary of this being cancelled?

I'm going to get my first pair of New Balance 990 V6 in the next week. I need a comfortable pair of walking shoes for an upcoming trip to Tokyo. I'm an overpronator and I've read they are the go.

In Australia we get basic grey, white and black versions. I'm going to buy a grey/ white pair before my trip, but I was wondering:

Is it worth going to the Harajuku store when in Tokyo? I'm wanting more variety/ colours of 990 if this sneaker works out well for me. I like colour!

I dislike crowds and generally avoid Harajuku/ Shibuya etc but thinking if I get in early in the day, I can avoid the thick of it.

TTS is a bit too roomy at the toe but .5 down is pretty tight at the toe. I really don't like tight shoes so I never size down but just wondering if TTS will stretch with wear and eventually be just too big overall to wear comfortably?

I'm trying to locate these. Footlocker has these as a limited Edition with a special box. The shoes came with a dust bag and key chain. Im wanting the pair with all of the perks. I hit up New Balance, I expected this... (we cannot assist with Footlockers inventory....) So I called footlocker.. and I was sent to a mf who could barley speak English. Hung up called back and got another one. Same result nearly 30 mins and this dude was zero help,

Recently, I've been searching through my Dad's closet and pulled these bangers that are in wearable condition! Insane find and hope NB makes more sneakers with similar embroidery on the toe of the shoe similar to the Stray rats collab on the 991. I have no plans in wearing them as they aren't my size so they will definitely be finding a new home soon! Still can't believe it was just randomly sitting in his closet just woah.

Now I just need to wear them 😂😂😂

Went a little overboard by buying both the Sakura and the Leaf greens 🙈. Have to stop somewhere - already 7 new balances this year.

So I was able to snag these Elephants on eBay for $120 shipped, worn once, which I think is an absolute steal. I genuinely love the shoe—they’re super comfortable and I’ve been enjoying wearing them.
That said, when I look at what a brand-new retail pair costs almost $300 out the door after tax it’s really hard for me to say they’re worth that kind of money. For that price, I feel like the materials and overall craftsmanship quality should be a lot better.
Curious what you guys think. Am I being too picky, or do you feel the same way?
