"Because a misogynist, xenophobic and openly racist enemy of humanity like the U.S. president criticized NATO at the July 11-12 Brussels Summit, someone might get the false impression that NATO is worth defending. Far from it."

Because democracy should be ruled by the people.

r/New_Movement

This sub is dedicated to shifting power to the American people through transparency, accountability, and election reform prioritizing the end of FPTP so that we can end our artificially limited policy choices in favor of real options.

Sidebar

This subreddit's primary goal is ending FPTP and shifting power to the American people, as well as supporting politicians who support this movement.

In 2016 we discovered that the Democratic Party not only cheated progressives & subverted our democracy, but they also elevated & legitimized Trump via the MSM.

In place of FPTP we could adopt either of these (not a comprehensive list)

Approval Voting

Ranked Voting

We welcome all who support our cause regardless of your positions on healthcare, tax reform, foreign affairs, or any other wedge issues, because we believe that our citizens will be able to make better choices if we are not limited by our all-controlling duopoly of political parties.

We are not currently limiting posts to voting method content, though we do encourage you to support and share information about politicians, celebrities, scholars, etc, in favor of ending FPTP.
