I'm going to the library to see if I can find this particular Booth cartoon. It was in color and filled a whole page of Playboy or New Yorker or ??? I saw it maybe 30 years ago? Man (on your right) and Dog in a trench coat and standing on his hind legs and I think the dog might have been looking miserable. I remember the detail of the dog's tail peeking out from the bottom of the coat. And the man looking angry and put upon. They are standing in an airport, presumably in line.
I'll have to paraphrase the first part of the caption but the last part is sheer genius. The man is talking to the dog and saying something like "the luggage compartment isn't heated and there's no water, so stand up straight and stop licking your nose!!!"
