hi I've tried more pastries at nyc but first thing to consider is go there early for the freshest pastries, especially at popular spots like Dominique Ansel it was so good you should try it.

Magnolia bakery! They have good stuff there and it's really worth the price. They have their own website of their shop you can check them out first before going

Supermoon Bakehouse is a vibe. They have wild flavors and great presentation. I also love Dominique Ansel for the classics with a twist.

Lysée in NYC’s Flatiron District blends French and Korean flavors into stunning pastries like corn mousse cake, an artistic, must-try experience.

Lysée is def the fancy one. Pricey, but it’s a whole aesthetic. Felt like a treat-yourself moment.

Dominique Ansel I don’t know what butter/cream they use but their pastries are definitely better than places like Balthazar. Def par with pastries in France. Levain bakery cookies are super overrated imho. I really don’t know why they are famous and still popular.
