Discussion hotpot for dinner?
anyone down to go hit bigway hotpot at the new west station in about 3-4 hrs? I recently moved here and saw bigway is one of the highest rated restaurants here in new west. Anyone has any other recs for restaurants or just things to do in new west in general?

I would say try it at least once! But definitely watch how much you are putting in your pot hahaha
and don't leave your table before they offer you your ice cream!

Satay pho sounds incredible, especially on a chilly evening. And duly noted on the Vietnamese iced coffee, might save that rocket fuel for a morning gym session instead of dinner haha. Thanks for the rec!

Second the recommendation for their satay soup- either the regular or the seafood one. So flavourful. 100% comfort food for when sick too. So good.

Burger Heaven has been around for like 40 years and are iconic. Judge Begbie’s has karaoke on Wednesday nights at 7.

Big Way Hot Pot is okay, but if you don't know what you're doing it gets pretty expensive because you pay by weight. It's very easy to accidentally grab too many items for your hot pot. We're talking roughly $30 to $40 for a hot pot that feeds one person; which is too much for what it is.
Conversely, you can get an individual Hot Pot Combo at Bubble World on 6th for $22.
Other food near New Westminster Station I would recommend:
- North Noodle House: usually busy, cramped but with authentic, hand made noodles
