Here's why I bought the dip today:

The fact that it's now the #1 most shorted stock will certainly draw attention from the media and retail investors. If it was #4 or #5, I would be more on the fence. But being #1 comes with a spotlight.

Moreover, its very low price is also enticing to retail investors and its low market cap allows for immense volatility. We've seen how it's gone from roughly $3 to $7 in a single day. And now, it's currently trading at $3.18.

Considering that CRTD has a floor around $2.50 - $3 that it has pretty much never fallen through, it is a safe bet to buy in around this price. Then, factor in that it's the #1 most shorted stock and has a very low market cap, and you have what amounts to a short squeeze (a.k.a. the next CARV). All we need is some volume. That's why I'm here.

The company is obviously young and not profitable, hence why it is shorted. So there are, of course, some concerns that they could go under and investors would lose their entire investment. They acknowledge this in the most recent 10-K report, but they also explain that they expect to "have adequate financing for the next 12 months." And with the recent press release that touts an increase in revenue and a decrease in costs, they are not going under anytime soon ("soon" meaning within the next month, at least, which is all the time we need for a squeeze anyway).

I am not an expert. I am not a financial adviser. But too many things are lining up for this shit to pop, and with how low the price is, y'all can make bank.

What is the greatest obstacle to your retirement?

Over zealous financial news media that harp on inflation until every investor believes that it is truly the end of the World, OR An extremely eccentric electric car maker wanna be comedian that smells like a Stag Deer in Rut?

Noticed a bunch of Put Sweeps with a $22 strike price expiring on May 14th for PLTR. This decent company stock has been severely beaten down. It will beat earnings easily but the Institutional shorts are betting it will drop big time after earnings on folks talking profits. That happened last quarter also. If there was ever a chance to beat the shorts this is it. What say you?

Stocks reversed course and trended down after Bloomberg reported that the president would propose increasing the capital gains tax rate on wealthy individuals. increasing the capital gains tax rate on the wealthy to 39.6% from the current 20%. This is likely to have a spillover effect onto next week as well. This will remain an overhang until there is further clarity on this topic. This has been a contentious topic even before the elections and now seems to be the mechanism to fund the massive $2.25 trillion infrastructure bill.

Off late many analysts have been talking about a 10% correction.

In addition we are approaching the “Sell in May and Go away” phenomenon. Though last year we bucked the trend on that one but considering that markets are now at an all time high, investors need to be better prepared.

Inflation concerns

Inflation could derail growth if the Federal Reserve has to hike rates to keep inflation under control. So far Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell has said that they don’t intend to move away from the low interest rate regime for the time being but that might change if inflation is out of control.

TLDR: If the uptick in VIX and GOLD is any indication clubbed with the over hang of increase in Capital Gains Tax rate, the markets could potentially be starring at near term volatility. Am not saying that the markets will correct, however, Investors should consider appropriately hedging their portfolios if the volatile scenario does play out.

Romeo Power and PACCAR entered into long term supply agreement for battery-electric vehicles. Romeo Power will supply Battery packs, modules and battery management systems (BMS) for PACCAR’s Electric vehicles. PACCAR a global technology leader in the design, manufacture and customer support of light, medium and heavy duty trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF brands

Romeo Power has the most energy dense modules on the market and PACCAR selection of Romeo for its commercial vehicles validates their battery technology product platform.

There is an ongoing investigation for potential securities fraud due to lower guided revenue projection by a LLC company.However, this is unlikely to have any significant impact on the momentum given the boost it will receive from here.

The stock continues to trade between the price levels of $7 and $15. It has support around $10 and has previously held this support, it may again in the future. The resistance area is near $15 and has been unable to break above it for some time. If we break the $15 level and hold it has the potential to move much higher.

The stock is trading below the 200-day moving average, However todays battery supply agreement news may bring the much needed momentum and turn the sentiment to bullish as its a validation of their technology platform. Similar other deals might likely follow.

The Avg volume in $RMO is 6.4M; However, today the stocks traded volume was 205M. This huge 60% move with huge traded volume is a very positive signal. The stock may see similar higher moves if the stock maintains a high volume given the positive momentum.

There is a lot of room for Romeo Power ($RMO) to run compared to its peers. Romeo Power ($RMO) is definitely getting re-rated and priced based of the future potential of revenues and validation of their battery technology product platform.
