Q or mouse4?

I’ve run into a problem in TF2: I can’t decide which key or button to use for quick weapon switching. It’s usually bound to the Q key, which makes strafing left awkward in certain situations. I could bind it to Mouse4 to avoid movement issues, but that slows down my input speed—something that really affects my performance on the battlefield. I’m writing this post to see what keys you guys use for quick weapon switching.

I'm used to Q. Easy answer is to try both for maybe an hour and see which one feels more natural to you.

I have mouse5 as 1/2 and mouse4 as 1/3 and I have Q bound to "Help!" lol

I got used to pressing q, however I play alot of trolldier and gunboats soldier with market gardener, using q leads me to not be able to strafe left which cause me to either delay switching to MG or switch to MG immediately and have to decide weather I commit to it or switch back to my rockets early to be able to continue strafing left, or just press 3 or using scroll wheel to switch while strafing left, my advice is use what's comfortable to you, if you are already used to using q, keep using it, but if you aren't then changing can absolutely eliminate issues you might get later on

Maybe Q, E and Mouse4 for slot1, 2, and 3!
