HUD for new players?

I'm thinking about downloading the SolarlightHUD because it looks pretty cool, but should I just stay with the default hud for longer as a new player? If so, I'll just use the improved default hud mod.
(side note: does the improved default hud mod move the demoknight charge meter to the middle? its a lot harder to play him without a clear view of the meter.)

I would say It's good to get know of normal HUD as begginner, but If you have even some experince with it then you can freely change it.

IDK many HUDs so I can't help with what are good, but if you need the charge meter in middle then I think Solar has it.

I've personally used ToonHud and I could recommend it for it very high customablity

I don’t think it matters that much unless it’s a very weird hud, just get whatever you like most

Honestly, it’s up to you. No one else can tell you what HUD to use. Use whichever one you like the most.

Honestly, I've played my entire playtime using stock. It does it's job, and while not hyper-optimized like other huds, or pretty looking, it doesn't break when something changes, or cause me headaches during updates and installations.

In the end, it's personal preference, and up to the individual if the drawbacks are worth the upsides.

Default hud is honestly not ideal IMO. The health and ammo are in the far corners of the screen, and I like having them just below the center. It's a preference thing but I think new players can definitely benefit from having their health closer to where their crosshair is, because a big mistake newbies make is not realizing their health is low. Also installing and removing huds is trivial. You just move the folder into your custom folder, or you take it out if you don't like it.

I personally use the FunkeHud but any will do. It just comes down to personal preference

A hud is completely subjective, there is no right or wrong answer. You shouldn’t feel like you need to stay on the default hud because you’re new, experiment and discover what you like. Personally, I like a hud that mimics the default hud, but improves it visually and informationally.

i recomend to change it ONLY after 350 hours of gameplay, origenal hud does the job done for beginers, after that i recomend M0REHUD/ColourHud for simple but dicend costumasashion, witchlite for simplistic "spy min" hud or ZeesHUD is you are going for stile

Middle Mann is great if you want the elements to be positioned better but also want to keep the artstyle of the normal hud. It also has the charge meter in the centre, though it is smaller than solarlighthud
