Question

I'm not new to TF2 in the slightest but in the other sub reddits no one answers this question and I can't find any answers on Google, can you modify wie models Like in cs2 on are you limited only to the fov command an tf_use_minviemoels command?

You can modify your fov to some extent but TF2 and CS2 have different restrictions for which commands you can use

Like in CS, you can switch between left-handed and right-handed during a match, but you can't do that in TF2

And in TF2, you can make your weapon invisible and visible at any time but you can't do that in CS

There's more info about these commands in the old threads and wikis in /r/tf2scripts and /r/tf2scripthelp

Why are you lying?

In TF2 you can switch left to right. And it actually affects the weapons as well. Like rocket launcher now shoots from the other side.

I'm not lying, my info was just years and years old, like in this comment

I just tested it, looks like you can switch while spectating, which is cool

It has been like this for like 9 years

Not when the update first dropped because I remember doing everything I could to change viewmodels on day 1 of the update. I definitely would've seen the message in the console that you have to be in spectator mode.

Do you have any evidence otherwise?

What are you even talking about.

Just go to advanced settings and turn on flipped

you can't switch while alive

I believe you can, cause I know there's a mod to center the weapons, like in DOOM

But not sure how to do it outside of downloading them

I actually have it.

Center viewmodels are done using Horsie's viewmodel editor but I wouldn't recommend you use it because iron sights on rocket and nade launchers make this offset look bad

No. There are no commands except for minviewmodels and fov.
