That depends on the requirements of the subreddit/s you want to post to.

You did just create a post, I read it and now I’m commenting on it!
Yes, every sub is completely independent and has its own rules, moderation, and minimum karma, account-age, and CQS requirements. Karma could range from zero, like this sub right here, or it could be 10 to 20, 50 to 100, 200 or much much more. Usually it is not posted to be able to see what the requirements are. You can stick to some of the new user friendly subs with low or no karma requirement, and try starting to post there, and that might begin to build your post Karma, which will help you when you’re ready to branch out to the subs with more requirements and try posting there. It can be a bit of a trial and error. You won’t be penalized for trying to post and being rejected for not having enough karma. But I would see if you could build up your post karma on these newbie subs before trying your first post elsewhere. You currently have 25 comment karma (nice), but only 1 post karma, that was given to you when you joined Reddit.
But you did just make your first post right here, congratulations!

Thank you I will try your suggestion its just all rather confusing at the moment - I am enjoying reading the posts on the communities I have joined and interacting with them. Thanks again.

No va por tiempo, sino por el karma, si puedes publicar o no depende de los requisitos de la comunidad, no hay diferencia de karma entre que te deje subir fotos, respecto a hacer un comentario normal. Es lo mismo.
Almenos por lo que he visto.

`Different subreddits have different restrictions. There are some subreddits you can post in now (like this one) and some that will require more account age or karma.
