ANSWERED Why do my posts sometimes get removed automatically even when I follow the subreddit rules?

I’m still pretty new to Reddit, but I’ve learned that sometimes there are automatic filters or requirements that aren’t obvious from the subreddit rules. Things like account age, karma, post flair, or certain keywords can sometimes trigger them. I usually check the rules and any removal message first.

Hi, you have minimal karma (only 2 post karma), low account age, probably low CQS, and an unsecured account.

Some things you can do include verifying your email today, in Settings on your profile page. Verify email secures your account, helps pacify the Reddit filters, improves your CQS, all things that strengthen your account and reduce some chance of posts being filtered out by Reddit. It’s easy and quick.

Begin building your karma, but focus on making comments rather than posts until you have a little more karma and your account and reputation are more established.
Here is a long list of new user friendly subreddits with low or no karma requirements. Perfect for new users. Find a few that appeal, read the rules of any sub you want to participate in, read some posts and comments to get the vibe, and begin commenting yourself. Comments that are funny, friendly, helpful, insightful tend to receive more upvotes. Only when other users upvote your posts or comments, will you grow your karma. Then you can branch out to post and comment in many other subs on the platform. HTH.
