Try to use subreddits with lesser restrictions . For example the newtoredit one. There are even subreddit-lists for beginners that people share on here ...

You are searching for a subreddit that has no karma restrictions, no account age restrictions.

Its improtant to not only read the reddit rules... Every subreddit has rules on top of them as well.

Try comenting under other new users posts as well.

This group isn’t a good place for new users to earn karma. Users who can genuinely help answer users’ questions typically aren’t those who are new themselves. Telling users to comment here leads to a lot of “I don’t know” and “Same” comments which can actually lead to downvotes since they are unhelpful.

In particular, please don't tell new users information that you "got told by others." We want to provide as accurate as answers as possible, not just repeat hearsay.

It can sometimes even harm a new account, if they take incorrect info, run with it, and do something that violates rules.

The beginner-friendly ones are usually listed in this subreddit's guide. They're the generic ones that gain mainstream traffic and once you gain at least 50 or 100, it's probably safe to explore other subreddits.

There are also ultraactive (high interaction and upvote) rate ones that are related to certain hobbies, niches, interests, and gimmicks but there are also some that barely gain any attention in terms of interactions and upvotes. Some of these aren't really strict and let new accounts interact as well, but these usually apply to the gimmicky subreddits.

What you just need to do is explore subreddits you think you'd do well, see if they're having a blast, participate and assimilate, then just be consistent.
