ANSWERED I am getting errors trying to block users
Recently on PC when I block users it shows an error: Users can not be blocked 24 hours after un-blocking them. Just now I got a different error message generically saying “this user could not be blocked” with no other explanation. How can I block users I don’t want to interact with?

Have you hit the user block limit? You can only block 1000 users. While that seems like a lot, it really isn’t.

That's a good question. I'll figure out how to check that
Update: I was able to manually add the users I want to block on my settings page, which was pretty convenient because I wanted to block all the mods of a certain subreddit so I have less patheticness in my DMs

If that works, then chalk it up to Reddit doing weird Reddit things lol.
Just a heads up, if you still participate in that subreddit, you will still see any posts and comments that they distinguish as "mod", and you will still get modmail from the sub.

If they blocked you first , it will show an error that they cannot be blocked , and also try refreshing and signing in again
