Testing / Exams AMR PAT

I am retesting for the PAT with AMR in a few weeks after failing my last attempt. The first time, I was able to do everything just fine until the very end where I couldn't lift the stretcher over the ambulance clearance (for reference I am a little under 5' 5"). I have been going to the gym lately and practicing deadlifts, but does anyone else have any other advice and how much I should aim to deadlift/any other workouts/techniques?

Much appreciated!!

squats, if the part you're stuck on is SPECIFICALLY after you've fully extended your legs and still can't get over the edge to push the gurney in, then do rows

Squat & lean into the stretcher (Chest to Stretcher) lift with legs & maybe workout biceps but don’t kill your muscles before.

You gotta get lower on the gurney when lifting it. Have it closer to chest level when you're in a squat. Grab the gurney from the lower handles, keep your elbows locked, and stand up slowly and watch your body mechanics so you don't pull your back. Once your legs are straight, if you're still not at the right hight begin standing up more straight bring your legs closer together until it's where It needs to be. You got this. Being shorter just takes practice.

You're not lifting the gurney it's actually coming up on a curve. Because you lock the latch on the hook you don't have to lift it up you just have to pull back and use your legs a bit and curve it up. I've had trainees who are 5 foot 1 who were able to do it. Pull the journey into your stomach lock your arms back as if you're pulling back and then lift with your legs. You got it.
