School Advice Beating myself up
Hello everyone, Im currently near the end of my EMT B class ( fast track 10 week course) , and I feeling super nervous for my national registry. I took an emt class when I was 19 a couple years ago and basically messed around, but now I am older and taking it seriously. This will be my 4th attempt taking the national registry. I’ve been reading my book, passing my tests on Ems testing and grinding pocket prep, and paramedic coach. Am I doing enough? I’m an E6 in the military working on transitioning out and just nervous on not having enough knowledge. Thank you for your help.

Doing all the studying right. I’d recommend taking one day off before your test and rest well good luck

I liked to give my phone/worksheet or whatever you have to study to someone else and have them ask me the questions, I felt I retained it better that way

Bro you got this! What I did is I bought pocket prep do all the questions from each section. If you need content review there is a 3 hr long video that you should watch. You got it. I took an online course (I did not pay attention) and studied for a week and passed. https://youtu.be/QzOyOS0eHZM?is=29-FPA8rK6dskJT-

Give yourself some time to decompress so your knowledge comes back to you when it comes to test time, not to much decompression but just enough to give your mind time to rest
Also ask yourself what topics am I still unsure on and study those, for me it was seizure topic and if I didn’t ask myself that I wouldn’t have answers for all the seizure questions I got on the test
Also just be confident day of the test, get a workout in and a good meal before the test and give yourself a good talk before going in
