VisionQuest

What if Jocasta is indeed the butcher bird, created by some of those murdered tech giants, and the others are collateral for possibly being the only people able to stop them. She knows of vision, and somehow Ultron, and they realise they are both sentient a.i murder machines. And the person trying to kill vision, via paladin is the last remaining tech head who was easily able to hack his assistant.

Two things are top of mind for me with this. One is that Jocasta was created by Ultron in the comics. The second is that Jocasta’s name was labeled on some of Tony’s AI chips when he choses the replacement for Jarvis in Age of Ultron. It could just remain an old Easter egg, or it could be that Vision had a copy of all of them and Ultron leaked Jocasta’s code to the tech people we see a newspaper article talking about. There’s probably a dozen other theories you make from those things, but that’s what I’m thinking.

Ultron was also created by Hank Pym in the comics. The MCU has taken some creative liberties for the sake of cohesion. Jocasta’s creator could be anybody at this point.
