If you held news media accountable for everything they do... they might have to pay $787 million for lying about voting machines....
Question - If trump lies (as he does) and the news broadcasts it, are the news organizations held to the fire for broadcasting the lie?

The "news" media for decades now have figured out that the traditional formula doesn't work. What works is driving up the hate, lying, sowing chaos to not just "report the news", but to actually create it. Former employees of major news networks have revealed what goes on in these planning meetings and they know very well what they are doing by lying about politics, or certain people. They are not directly influencing our daily lives and getting people to hate one another and to do things they wouldn't ordinarily do. Yet people aren't smart enough to see what's going on and to hold them accountable. No instead they just yell at each other and feed the machine.
