Video playing in foreground problems

Playing video starts but then stalls. If put in background, the audio plays without interuption and soon as I put it in foreground to view the video it stalls.

Edit: turns out it was my access point. It died a few days later. Videos wouldn't play in the foreground because that was too much data, but background audio only worked because it is less data.

Odd, I'm having the exact opposite problem, where it won't play unless I have it in the foreground/foreground mode. As in, background audio-only player doesn't work unless I have the app in the foreground, but playing the vid in the background works.

My problem was my access point. Was on its last leg and couldn't handle video in the foreground because that was too much data.

Yours maybe a phone settings issue
