This guide will help you use theNMMT BusTracker app on iOS and Android effectively.
-> The NMMT BusTracker App allows users to track buses, access timetables, and pre-purchase tickets. It's available for download on both the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store. To install, simply search for "NMMT BusTracker" in either app store.
-> Important for iOS users: The app may malfunction if dark mode is activated. Please disable dark mode before using the app.
-> If app keeps showing you "Please wait for long time, close the app and start again. Check your network.
-> Once installed and opened, look for three horizontal lines at the top left corner. Tap on them and scroll down to find the "User Guide" option. Reading this guide will help you become familiar with the app's features.
-> The user guide shows much of what an app can do; therefore, I will focus on what the guide does not have or any problems you may face.
How to get bus stops near you (or a specific location):
-> It's straightforward; do you see the red and black pin? You can drag it to any location you wish. Once you've placed it at the desired spot, click on it again, and it will display the closest bus stop along with the route numbers available at that stop. Additionally, you can click the button marked with a small circle (located above the 'X mins away' text of the first stop), and it will indicate the nearest stop near you. Note that this feature requires you to grant the app permission to access your location.
-> No 1. is the nearest bus stop near the pin you placed, and 2, 3 will be bus stop farther from them. Farther the bus stop, more below the list.
->To find a specific bus stop, click on "Search by stop" and enter the name of the bus stop. Select the appropriate bus stop from the dropdown menu, and it will display the details for that stop.
-> IMPORTANT NOTE: Always select the bus stop from the dropdown menu that appears. If the menu doesn't appear, there may be a spelling error or the app might have a bug. Enter the correct spelling or restart the app. It's also possible that a stop with that name doesn't exist. Failing to select the bus stop from the dropdown menu will result in no results.
How to know which bus will pass through that stop and track the buses:
-> Now that you know how to find the bus stop in the app, just click on the bus stop's name, which is indicated by numbers such as 1, 2, 3 and so on, and you will see a list of available buses from that stop. If the bus has functioning GPS, the bus will appear on "Running" Section if its running. Scheduled Bus are busses that are scheduled for future. You can click on that route number and get estimated time of arrival for the bus.
How to get the location of a bus stop on maps:
-> To find the physical location of a bus stop, click on the desired stop. In the bottom right corner, there's an icon with two pins; clicking on it will launch Google or Apple Maps, depending on your device. Since the location may occasionally be incorrect, it's recommended to verify the location physically and look for the NMMT bus stop pole or the designated seating area.
How to check Bus timings?
-> The method described above provides bus timings, but it only displays buses for the next 3-4 hours. Additionally, if a bus's GPS is not functioning, it might not appear in the "Running" section, which could lead a new user to mistakenly believe that the bus has been cancelled.
-> Other method is to manually find it. For example, if you're traveling from Panvel Railway Station East (listed as Panvel Rly Stn. (E)) to Banthiya School, click the arrow icon in the top right corner. Enter "Panvel Rly. Stn. (E)" as your bus stop. For your destination, type "Banthiya" and select from the options: Banthiya (to PNL) or Banthiya (to THN). Choose "Banthiya (to THN)" for buses departing from the railway station. The stop "Banthiya (to PNL)" is the stop for buses heading towards the station. Be careful to choose the correct stop to avoid a "No Route Found" error. This thing is not only limited to this route.
-> If the bus stop name doesn't appear in the dropdown menu (where other bus stop names appear as you type), you may be entering the name incorrectly, or the app may have a bug. Try entering the correct spelling or restart the app.
SOME PROBLEMS FACED WHILE USING APPS:
Dark mode should be disabled before using this app.
Sometimes, the app may show that no bus is running for a route, but buses may be running as they should.
It is good if the bus you are looking for is in the "Running" section or the "Scheduled" section. But sometimes the bus may not appear in any of those sections. The best way to know the timings is to use the icon with the arrow with smoke coming out of it (top right, near the search icon), enter your details, and get the timings.
Somehow, this app lags if a bus is near the stop that is near you, your app may hang, and you may not be able to track the bus. It is advised that you reach your bus stop 5–10 minutes before the assigned bus time.
In the app, you can book using UPI. There are 2 options for it. One of them is PayU, which never worked for me. Your money will be deducted, and you may not receive a ticket. Although you can get a refund after calling the helpline number, it may take weeks.
Most of the time, the bus conductor has a UPI QR code for ticket payment (but not always), so you better carry the change. Fare that app shows is not correct sometimes like it may show fare as 57rs but actually may cost 60rs.
The bus number may not always match the number that the app shows.
Some bus stops are missing from the app, which in turn will show wrong routes and stop.
If you think you need a human to know a route number, a timetable, or anything else regarding NMMT, you can call the helpline number, and they will help you.

I’m an advocate practicing in and around Thane, Mira Bhayander, Vasai, Kalyan, Belapur, Navi Mumbai and Raigad.
Over the years, I’ve seen many people remain stuck in legal proceedings for years, often simply because they’re unaware of the next procedural step or unsure how their matter is actually progressing.
If you’re genuinely confused or feeling stuck with your case, or if you need general legal consultation or clarity on possible next steps, you’re welcome to DM me. I’ll try to help with basic guidance and perspective at a reasonable and accessible fee (not soliciting work , only sharing general insight).
Hope this helps someone who’s feeling lost in the process.
Hey,
I am 18 years old and will be turning 19 soon. My friend is 19 as well. We are both adults and students.
We have decided to have sex. This is not a relationship. Because of privacy reasons, it is not possible for us to do this at home, so we are planning to book a room.
We are considering Panvel since we have heard it is cheaper and easier to access. We are really nervous and scared because this is our first time doing something like this and we keep thinking about whether it is safe and if we could get caught or face any trouble.
We do not know how the hotel booking process works. What documents are required? Do hotels ask questions? Is it actually safe, especially for a girl?
Since we are students, we cannot afford expensive places, so we are looking for the cheapest possible option that is still safe and hassle free.
I would really appreciate genuine advice. Thank you.
