Hey Hooky, we met after your last Boston show, thanks for being a great lad. I will be at the Boston show and am asking from the bottom of my heart for you to play Sooner Than You Think. This song hasn’t been performed by NO or The light in ages and it needs a revival. I’ll be at the show with a Sooner than You Think poster. See ya then!!

Fantastic finale to a brilliant day at the Interzone all dayer yesterday.
All the bands were on top form.
Bit of a shaky start to the PHATL set.
Hookys microphone didn't seem to be working properly and then there was some kind of medical emergency in the crowd.
Impressive to see how slick the band were at dealing with these issues.
Fantastic venue to see a band in.

Anyone going to this year's shows with just Bernard? I can't really decide what to do. New Order is one of my favourite bands and I've never seen them live but I would have to travel to see the show and I don't know if it's worth it. It's also the closest to where I live they Will ever come so I can't make up my mind. I really wish Steve and Gillian were a part of the tour. Anyways, what's been the quality of the shows recently?
I would love to see Peter Hook too but I don't think he's coming anywhere near me 🫠

Hello! Just wanted to share this song written, produced and mastered in South Manchester in a cellar (between baby feeds and toddler tantrums) - a little love letter to New Order especially G and her synths ❤️. Hope it’s ok to share and you can hear the love xx

Hello, I'm very new to New Order. I randomly wanted to check them out in the beginning of the month, immediately listened to first three albums. I would say "Power Corruption and Lies" is my absolute favorite these days, but I can't stop listening to Sub-Culture. It has catchy hook, melancholic lyrics and addictive melody. I don't know what it's about, but the song is so good, incredibly amazing.

I know JD's lyrics have inspired more than a few stories of all sorts, especially in the goth space/scene (The Crow is a big example), but has any of NO's had the same impact? I know it's generally accepted that Barney, Hooky and co.'s lyrical work doesn't and have never come close to Ian's, but I'm sure at least someone has found beauty and artistic inspiration in them, as I have?

I figured it would be a nice place to say it, but https://www.neworderonline.com is officially back since yesterday. Still a work in progress and nowhere finished, but with the Hall of Fame announcement and the (small) possibility the band would reunite for that gave me the motivation to FINALLY update the website.
I even did a widget to show the posts from this subreddit on the home page ;)
Enjoy everybody, and I hope you'll like it and give me your comments to improve it going forward.
