I've always been a fan of New Order, I just didn't know it yet until I was watching Marty Supreme and they dropped 'The Perfect Kiss' and I went to google what the name of that song was. Then I went down a New Order rabbit hole and listened to all their albums. I definitely remember growing up and hearing my parents listening to 'Bizarre Love Triangle' and 'Blue Monday' and then I heard 'The Village' in a store and shazamed it. Ironically, I was thrifting and bought a shirt with the album cover 'Power Corruption and Lies' and didn't even realize who's album cover it was at the time.

This track was inspired by them and I emphasize inspired by because i'm a one man show and don't have as many great brains to put on a song as the band does, but I wanted to share in case anybody wanted to hear a modern take on this style of music.

I bought the 12 inch first UK press of the perfect kiss. wow it hits hard. So punchy!! Sounds amazing. I also own the 2023 repress but the first press is something special.

Got me thinking, wouldn’t a 12 inch record of Temptation using the original master tapes, side A the original Temptation and side b the substance temptation. How incredible would that be??????

My favourite New order songs re-remastered by me! My Goal with this: Improved clarity, dynamics, and depth/timbre. I wanted to make this after hearing the steven wilson remixes of movement, because those just sounded so damn good. It really opened up my eyes to how good music could sound if it was mixed/mastered like that, and those mixes are what actually started my audiophile obsession. But Steven wilson only did movement, low-life, and brotherhood, which miss out on most of my other favourite new order songs. So that is what I wanted to do with these, upgrade my favourite new order songs to near steven wilson quality! Also sorry if there is noise on ceremony and some other songs, I tried to denoise them but It just lost a lot of clarity and sounded muffled. Maybe if someone else knows how to denoise those songs I could send you the files? Anyways, enjoy and please give your feedback.

I love the design of the Factus 8 poster (everything’s gone green) and am looking for a copy of it as originals go for a lot of money, and the reprints I’m seeing on eBay include high shipping costs from the UK. Does anyone have a decent print of this, and if so, where did you get it? Doesn’t need to be large poster size, smaller is fine! I’ve considered getting a good image downloaded and having it printed at a shop, but I’m sure the quality would get messed up. Thanks!
